Dang if I wish knew that at the time!
Brilliant mic, used this for s few years for YouTube videos, super clear sound quality
Terrible microphone for gaming.

You have to literally be half an inch away from it to get decent sound quality.

There are far better options out there.

Just sharing my experience! I struggled with it for a good year.

I would never recommend them for gaming, one of the worst microphones I've had.

The sound quality is great if you can get really close to it. Otherwise it's WAY too quiet.

I would recommend something like Antlion modmic instead for games or Audio-Technica ATR2500 if you want a desktop microphone.

Not sure how much helpful I can be. I can answer specific questions about it if you like?

Terrible microphone for gaming.

100% agreed, my issue was the mic would pick up so much background noise and keyboard strikes it was impossible to hear me talk. Useless for TS and Discord.
I would imagine if you are gaming a headset mic would be a better option, this for blogging and general recording purposes

That price is for a "Renewed" one, not brand new like this.

I bought one, it's ace.

Get a boom for a tenner and it works great. And for the guy worried about it picking up noise. Push to Talk.

I've got one. It doesn't change the fact you have to still be half an inch away from it, it's just too awkward for gaming.

Push to talk does not filter out the background noise it picks up. A noise gate works OK but that isn't a great solution either.

I tried many things with this mic, I ended up binning it though.

I've heard the version with the switch is better though.

Push to Talk.

Buttons are way too valuable to waste on speech, the problem is the mic picking up every background noise.

I'm not knocking the deal, its a decent mic that has its uses, but I was just agreeing that gaming isn't one of them..
