Showing happiness and joy again I see. It's like a personal vendetta. You still make it sound like it's going to destroy all your records rather than just it not sounding great etc.

Been watching Vinyl Eyezz vids for the last couple of months, decided I'll get an Audio Technica LP120 once I move into my new gaff in January. Would like to know if there really is any truth to these cheap LP players causing damage to the records.... I mean look at all the cheap hifis that came out in the 80s and early 90s... Did they do damage to the records as well?

Actually that's exactly what he is saying. It is likely to damage the record, not just sound crap. That was the part at the beginning about tracking force or the amount of pressure the needle exerts on the record.

Just saying

got one about a month ago, plays old record great. the intempo record i bought new though with christmas classics was terrible jumped all over the place. old vinyl is obviouslt better quality. but the record player itself is great and the bluetooth funtion is another big plus. great value.
