I have these, got them online for perhaps a pound or so less however the warranty is worth £1. They've been fab for running
Saw these advertised yesterday in store, have rebranded version and sound quality is actually superb as is battery life. I've had lots of Bluetooth headphones over the years and these are definitely in the top 3 at 8 notes they are a bargain
I have a similar product which I went running with for the first time yesterday. They do hold in the ear. If the sound quality is good then I may bag a pair of these as well.
these look remarkably like the Mpow swift headphones I bought from Amazon for £15, 5 months ago.
If they are the same, then this is a bargain.
I use them for a few hours of running every week. The batteries last well, the sound quality is very good, and they are reliable.
Voted hot

How would you know that given they're not on sale until the 3rd? New Year psychic!
I love my MPOW Swift headphones! If these are the same, then they're a great deal!

I have the mpow version from Amazon...these are amazing for the gym ! hot
I have these also branded as mpow and they're brilliant. Sound is great, feel comfy and battery life is pretty good too.

I'd certainly buy these again if something happened to mine

Because like everyone else is pointing out these are the same as a known brand, which I've owned and imo are total crap. Some people are easily pleased it seems when it comes to audio, they may as well still be using cassette tapes and dump there Mp3 players.

Amazon

A solid 4/5 on Amazon, over 2k reviews.

It's a shame we're not all blessed with ears as god like as yours. Might as well save that £7.99 for something huge.

Tape is better quality than MP3
Looks good cheers
Own two pairs of the MPOW Swift, love them. O/H uses the MPOW Cheetah's. Dad uses the MPOW folding BT headphones and I've a pair of the Muze for computer use. Nowt wrong with them at all. Even get strong reviews on YouTube. MPOW customer support has been brilliant. Had an issue with a shortened battery life on a pair, and they just sent a replacement.
Been looking at these cheap headphones for a while the Amazon reviews I find dubious and personally feel most or fake or the I got a free pair to demo line. Then mixed in the reviews are allot of total crap do not touch - so on the fence be interesting to give these a punt given half the usual price
Got the MPOW this week. SQ is actually really good at this level and at this price an absolute steal.
I have a set of these headphones. Not sourced via Aldi I admit.

I've the following observations;

Lots of emphasis on bass but sound easily distorts.

Built in mic is essentially useless.

I lost Bluetooth signal with cable behind my neck and phone in front pocket.

Pretty useless for running, unless you like a cable flapping up and down as you run.

Very easy to pair with devices. I'd say they are worth £5 maximum, as a backup set.

I'd never use them as primary headphones. So far I'm really impressed with my Xiaomi Piston 3's for the money.

sorry for typos, I'm on my phone and still no edit function for this app!!!!!!!!

Sorted typos on PC

Any chance of an editable HUKD app for typo ridden posts due to auto text?

There's a lot of headphones in this body but with different internals. Saying your cheap pair from somewhere else are rubbish so these are rubbish is ridiculous. We'll know Sunday if they are actually any good, but on the face of it, a great deal.

Also, MP3S are quite poor quality if you really want to look at audio quality.

Did anyone end up buying these?

What's the verdict, are they any good?
completely worth 8 quid. There are definitely many wired headphones that sound much better but for 8 quid can't fault these at all. Would recommend.
Is this just a one day deal or will they be available tomorrow?
Just picked some up and there really good for £8

Finite amount of stock, available till they're gone, which can be days. Probably still some tomorrow, there were around 20 units in my local Aldi at lunchtime.
Wow!! One of my resolutions for 2016 was to be wiser with my money. Therefore, I thought hard about spending these eight notes...buy cheap, buy twice and all that. I didn't want another impulse buy sitting in the gadget drawer, gathering dust.

It's true that they aren't audiophile quality and you will need to be gentle with them, particularly when charging, as the build quality is that of an £8 pair of headphones. But in all other respects, these are amazing. The sound is on the warm side and not shrill and the bluetooth range is impressive (not that you'll need that when running). The rubber grommets that hold the buds in place, during training, works well.

They do have a built-in mic and they do all the 'ok google', siri, call answering stuff, if you need all that when training. You'd probably want a better quality product if you want to make use of these features on a regular basis, but for occasional use, they are fine.

They work, they stay put, they aren't uncomfortable, and they cost eight notes!!!! So glad I took notice of s92c, DanWeb, and others. Of course they aren't in the same league as Bose, but total crap they certainly are not!!
Many people mentioned that they resembled mpow units.

Can anybody speak to the similarity?

Are these infact, likely to be rebranded/debranded mpow units?

Whilst not able to say with 100% certainty, I'd be amazed if these were not re-branded mpow units. They don't just look like, they look darn near identical. Comparing with the photographs of the MPOW product, the only difference I can spot is the MPOW logo on the function button being replaced by a graphic showing a play and pause icon. The technical specifications pretty much stack up to.

If these were purporting to be copies of a high end product, something akin to the fake nutri-bullets doing the rounds, then I'd be sceptical. But the Mpow headphones are pocket money product also.....so I'd confidently say yes
Decided to supliment my "Kitsound Beamers" on ear BT phones with a pair of these.
Tried one set and only had left channel. Second set work fine but I would describe the sound quality as 'muddy', which is acceptable at the price point.
I'd say they're OK for the daily commute, but they won't replace my Beamers for relaxing on long flights.
I'm hoping the three year guarantee will cover the battery which is probably going to be the first thing to 'go', but to be fair, around three years for eight quid is a bargain.

Grabbed some today - as others have said not the best ever headphones where build quality are concerned however still ok. For just £8 they are great value for money and sound is better than expected. I use Soundmagic E10S when not jumping around so I'm used to a fairly decent sound and these don't disappoint.
Bought one today. I havent tried with a 2nd phone but after pairing with Z3, the mic doesnt seem to be any good.
Also just bought a pair earlier. Very happy for the money as was close to spending 10x on another pair.
not the most eligant or robust headphones you can buy but for £8 you really cant go wrong and 3 years warranty has your products back long after you have probably moved on to the next thing anyway
Made a special journey to buy these as no Aldi in my town. They seem to charge OK in a reasonable time but the right one gets very hot and the battery lasts 10 minutes before I get the warning beeps. :-(
I've bought these today having seen this deal, the sound quality is good with both listening to music and using a phone.... But the earplugs are very uncomfortable..... Wouldn't recommend them, mine are going back :-(

I'm genuinely surprised by that. These earphones have their faults, and they certainly aren't the smallest units ever, but I was impressed by how unobtrusive they were, particularly when out running. Even Mrs Matt, has given them the thumbs up and she has very small ears and hardly ever gets on with in-ear headphones!! So much so, that she now has a pair of her own

If they have a fault, I'd say that they fit so nicely and block out so much outside noise, that some might say they are dangerous for running on the open road, as you are isolated from vehicle noise.
Bought these - sightly disappointed. I expect maybe a tinny treble and oomph-less bass but the sound is like I have cotton wool in my ears. Treble is muted, bass is distorted and vocals sound as though no one spotted the prank thick wool sock over the microphone. They'll do - but will take second place to the Solememo SE09 which I picked up on an Amazon deal last October for only a few £ more.
