Thanks iwannamotorbike

Thought this one looks better.. at least it's a Siemens.

mymemory.co.uk/Blu…-ID

And it has caller display / phone book sync. (etc)

The siemens doesn't seem to have a battery and have to be plug into the cig socket, while the BT have a battery.

Do anyone have any experience of the quality of sound from these devices. My friend has one similar to these but i don't recall the brand and I get all the feedback of what i say echoing back to me.

how to 2 post surface about similar type of gadget..

how about this one

I have this one from a previous posting, it's great, so much easier than an ear piece and hardly ever needs charging.

I'd certainly prefer to have it plugged into a power source like the cigarette lighter than have it run on batteries.

Your preference is a little odd as there will be a wire to the device. Where the other one is rechargable and last ages with no wire dangling.

Simple.. it's running off a constant power source so you've no fear of it going dead in the middle of a long call. Unless you keep a stack of batteries (or have access to a cigarette powered battery charger) nearby.

Eh? There will be no wire to the device anyways.. it plugs directly into the cigarette lighter with no wire dangling.

See the plug at the top that goes directly into the cigarette lighter.. where would the wire be? :?

Are these any good? Thinking of one for the girlfriend as she drives for 2 hours a day.

Is it easy to use and clear to hear?

Which is the best one to have - this or the other linked Supertooth Lite one?

Ok point taken. However that is your preference......i would want it on the sun visor and can be plugged into power if battery is low....also no power for sat nav to use.

Don't get me wrong.. ideally I'd prefer it on my sun-visor as sound would be much better.

I'm just a fussy fecker!

Ah theres the rub...
What we really want is one that will plug into your ciggy lighter and has a wirless transmitter for a battery operated mirophone and speakers system on the sun visor. Or one that is kept on the sunvisor and charged from the ciggy lighter when its low on battery but still works direct from that power source.
Oh I just cant make up my mind but I too like the seimens one for its lighter attachment. And they are on the whole a very reliable brand.
