If you're a fellow Desire HD user then you will be well aware of the dismal battery life - it now annoys me so much that I have resorted to looking for a secondary battery to keep with me at all times in the inevitable case that my phone hits the <15% mark and goes into Power Saver mode.
I think the stock Desire HD battery is 1500mAh so the extra 100mAh may not make a noticeable difference but it might be significant enough to make your phone usage that bit more comfortable.

Im pretty sure the original standard Desire HD battery is 1230mAh, so should make a difference at 1600mAh. For just short of 7 squid its worth a punt !.

Have some heat !

I purchased this about a month ago for the same price. First impressions were positive with the battery life. However I found that after a week of using my phone the battery lasted the same amount of time that the original Desire HD battery lasted. I think if you're going to be purchasing this product in the hope to cure (in my opinion) the only fault the Desire HD has which is its battery life then you may end up severely disappointed. Saying that however, I do when I'm planning to be out all day, carry it as a replacement battery and for just under 7 pounds I don't regret my purchase at all.

Aye, I will be doing the same myself, although depending on usage it may be a worthy replacement for some users! The reason mine drains so fast is cos I can't stay off the bloody thing - fantastic phone!

These don't last as long as the 1230... Only good as an emergency.

I found they last the same amount of time as the standard HTC battery, even with the extra capacity.

Cold you can pick these up for about £3 off ebay!

Yeh as others said it is only good as a replacement n u can get that for less than 3 quid on eBay I got mine for 2 quid something and I don't use it anymore as there are many tweeks such as WiFi on only when needed, GPS off, screen brightness on medium, no background data or do it manually etc plus with an upgrade to Android version 2.3 it lasts longer.
