Yes, good deal.
Before somebody mentions optional indicators, don't bother. Indicators are essential on BMWs, they are used in hazard flasher mode to permit the driver to park anywhere including double yellows.

Edit: better add one of these:

That's good!

Heated!

Nice find.

I would love one, but I do 30k+ a year

Heat anyway

Hmmm,i think it might be a mistake on their web site. Different 1 series models and contracts are all £216 a month, that doesn't really make sense and other apply to other BMW series...

It's a special offer on there home page so cant see any errors here...

Hot from me, and nice to see a decent lease deal without a stupidly high up front payment

I've ordered the 5dr version. 10k pa at £228pm with 3 months down. I've been quoted by 5 different companies and they couldn't get close to the price.

Just have to wait 10-12 weeks now

Don't forget the £180 admin fee too!

Thought it was 3 Door Only? Still a great price... Especially for top of the range 1 series!

This seems unbelievably good. I have been seriously thinking about changing my car at some point and this certainly makes a hell of a lot of sense for a couple of hundred quid a month. Hmmmm!

Does anyone know how much money extra miles are over the 10k allowance?

The 5 door 125d m sport is 225pm
The 5 door 120d m sport is 228pm

Jesus that's some options list lol. Heat added though as this is fantastic deal.

If I go for this, which I might, I'd deffo go for the auto 8 speed for an extra £50 upfront and £15 a month more. Makes a huge difference having that new silky smooth 8 speed auto.

How does the cost of insurance compare to being the keeper of the car on a lease car? Do you need to use specialist companies? Personally think this is a great deal especially for this engine.

One thing I'm not sure on, when quoting for the insurance would the Car Holder be classed as 'company leased' or 'private leased'???

Guess it depends if you're doing this through a business or personally?

So has anyone else got an order in? I am chatting to them today to see what they can do. There are a few options that I would want. But after reading reviews, such as this one, it seems like an incredible all rounder at a silly price.

I just ordered one through a different broker: 3+23, 125d auto, maintained and 10k per year, £264 (maintenance is pretty cheap and worth it since rear tyres are £220 each). Note over mileage cost is 13.9p per mile...

Luke, you put it down as owned by lease company with you being registered keeper... It does make it slightly more expensive I believe but not much

Harvey what company was that deal with?

Most lease deals are quoted initially as 3+23 or 3+35, 6+23 or 6+35. You only have to ask and they will usually requote on 1+ terms. Just makes the monthly cost go up by a little more than the amount you are now spreading over the contract.

I have literally in the last week just gotten a Mini Countryman, specced to the hilt, on a 3 year lease, and the insurance was quoted as 175 for the year. I topped it up a bit with additional covers, and I am 50 but still thought that was an excellent price. No problems with it being a lease car either, and that was through Admiral.

Admiral are fine with personal lease deals and it cost me no more at all.

Add £2500 to this final price and thats how much im paying to OWN my bmw 320d m sport... and when i sell.it come the end of the 2 years even if it is too a **** online site like we buy any car my deal works out a lot better. I still cannot see why people get thermse or think theyre a deal my car is a 61 plate (6 months off the newest shape, i can do unlimited miles)

My order is in. Factory order unfortunately - 10/12 weeks wait. £244 pm on 3+23 as i had the driver comfort pack included and 5 doors. £10k pa with xs miles charged at 7.8p inc VAT. worked out cheaper than paying for higher mileage now over the term

320d that's the one with the timing chain problems isn't it? Hope you've extended the warranty.

Nice one. I wouldn't touch a diesel BMW (or many other diesels tbh) out of warranty.

Cracking deal.

You are seriously trying to compare buying a 3+ year old used car against leasing a brand new factory ordered car? There are so many different permutations which come in to play, it's all horses for courses. I'm not sure you're grasping the concept here.

Which broker was it

Great deal I have a lease and it works a treat I also have a 330 diesel 2006 plate which is still running sweet as a nut with 180000 on the clock these Diesel engines are the best in the market , cracking deal I would of jumped on this instead of my thirsty St lol

Out of interest, I just paid £10k for a 14-plate pre-reg Megane with delivery mileage. I plan to keep it for 5 years and over that time it'll work out a bucket load cheaper than any PCP / lease deal for the same car. 4 year warranty on them too...

I'm afraid that I'm still uncomfortable with burning cash on leases even if some of these deals are very tempting!

1. Your car isn't this model

2. It's 4 years old so not new

3. You're paying over £8,000

4. You're financing by the sound of it, did you know you could have driven a new car for a few years by leasing it which is effectively the same as paying per month, you don't own your car until you've paid for it, so you're paying per month to drive an old car and when you get your next car you'll be paying each month no doubt to drive that.

5. You get to drive an old car which you're paying for each month but you own it but you still have to pay each month to finance your next car and whether it's new or not will cost more than this deal.

I must be missing something as that in no way compares to this deal.

Why? My 520d is 7 years old and is absolutely mint. It only ever needs servicing. Most reliable car I've ever owned.

Ive had bmw diesels for years and never had problems (except last year when a taxi jumped a red light and write it off of course). Got the 5 now on 59 plate and no probs so far (touch wood). Great cars

Repair bills are monstrous and can overwhelm fuel savings. There's good and bad ones out there, I'd just prefer not to take the risk.
