cold
I'll give it heat because for this car that's not bad at all, though I warn you: people here don't like BMW deals for some unknown reason ;-)
I'm sure that's true of ALL cars. Have you conducted any research which indicates that BMW drivers are less polite than the drivers of any other makes of car? If so, kindly please share it. If not....
Hmm...

So if you are receiving a company car allowance this might suit you. Hot for those people.
No dog in the manger voting here.
Why? Try going to your local BMW dealer and offer them £1700 deposit on this car on lets say one of their personal contract plans and see what your monthly payment will be, I almost guarantee it'll be a damn sight more than £460 pm.
But, how a car is driven is not really relevant to the quality of the deal.
lol.
don't just take my word for it

I generally find that German manufacturers (especially white ones) attract a certain type who are looking to project an image of success and the ability to spend more on their vehicles than someone who drives a ford, vauxhall etc. I also find that they think that this makes them better than these other drivers and they drive accordingly. £350 a month or £200 for a 116 is not a huge amount of money and that most of the working population could lease one if they so desired.
Maybe because audi , bmw and merc try to outdo each other on horsepower and performance, which leads to overly complicated engines crammed into a small space, which is then abused by stupid drivers
Hopefully my vw/seat mii engine will be immune to failure
Honda make its engines from unobtainium
I'm not under any illusion that German are as reliable as they once were, however the first link is based on Warranty Direct claims, which would suggest the cars are 3+ years old.
This lease is for a car that will be gone when two years have passed, during which it will have a manufacturers warranty.
TBF I doubt reliability is at the top of the list of priorities of the average 530D driver when they chose to buy/lease the car.
As you seem to like links, have a look at this one, especially number 4.

To be fair, you would expect a car to last for more than 3 years before the engine fails, unless of course you don't put oil in it lol
What you need really is a rover 800, and a nice pair of string backed gloves for a bit of extra purchase
Sounds like your opinion is based upon a very small sample indeed....
When you observe a driver in a white German car kindly please explain the physical indications and your thought processes which lead you to conclude that he or she is "looking to project an image of success and the ability to spend more on their vehicles than someone who drives a ford, vauxhall etc." And following on from that, why have you reached the conclusion that these drivers think that they are "better than other drivers...."
You are not obliged to answer, of course, because we all have a perfect right to flag our prejudices in a public domain, if we so desire....
Anyone driving a new white car is most likely driving a company car! Anyone who buys a white car with their own money is a bit daft! Although white cars are popular right now (as they were briefly in the 80's) they are generally difficult to sell second hand after the fad of having a white car passes and are worth less than the same car in a nice metallic/pearlescent colour.
Who can predict future trends! Perhaps white cars will become even more popular than they are currently....
Do you speak to people like that in person?
Oddly enough I have done my research
As I'm driving along, whenever I see examples of impolite driving I look at the badge on the back.
My unscientific straw poll has the BMW drivers way out front - no pun intended!
Anyway lets not let become 'handbags at dawn', have a sense of humour about it
Sounds as though your sample may not be statistically relevant....
