Hot seems cheap considering engine and list price
Great price. I’ve just picked up the coupe version that I got through the Leasing Options. I’m paying £530 a month but that’s nothing for a 72k car 🏼

The depreciation on all big beemers is catastrophic so leasing one makes much more sense than buying new
I'm told there are no more units left. Had an 840d for a weekend. Absolutely awesome car although for something so big the back seats are basically useless for anyone who wants to keep their legs. (That was the coupe. The GC doesn't have that issue)

Or you buy a second hand one at 1 to 6 months old for around half the new list price and finance it yourself at circa 3% flat.

The best thing is definitely buy used. Even if you're wealthy it is bonkers to throw away £25k in a year on a big beemer like an 8 series. Hilarious how the 840d was £76k new list and you can get 6 month old cars with 5k miles for £50k lol

From pistonheads via another online broker:

Yesterday we advertised a BMW 8 Series leasing offer that was quoted through one of our finance providers and we are conscious that you have accepted the quotation issued to you earlier today. This afternoon we have been made aware that the finance company involved, having received a spike in applications across the UK for this particular car and subsequently they identified an error with the residual value. At this point we have not been given a clear indication of the finance companies stance on this issue however we wanted to get in touch with you early to make you aware and also to say that we will be working on behalf of the impacted customers to get the best outcome.

We expect to get further information by close of play tomorrow.

According to discussion on PH the allocation has gone already so this likely isn’t achievable.

Lovely motor, heat.
The deal on PH was a fair bit cheaper so maybe this is genuine?

Financing is the problem on high value cars. No chance of getting 1 £40000 loan. Your looking £750 a month.
You are right of course in terms of value. If you want brutal look at the 7 series. £35000 off new.

Just ordered an A6 & thought I got a good deal at £10K for 2 Years /15K Miles p/a but this is amazing IF you can live with 8K miles p/a as it doesn't allow you to increase the mileage...
Has the Audi A7 deal been posted? S Line version for just over £10k over two years.

I've never quite understood what this ultra long shape offers over a 5 series. It doesn't seem much roomier inside.

Gran coupé. A coupé, for my gran?
Oh man that’s so sexy!!! May have to get one after it depreciated a bit more and I’d go for the 840d also as it’s more fuel efficient whilst still doing 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds

Why is the lease 24 months and not longer
