BMW M135i 3Dr 2 year lease - £251.99 inc vat /month! 6+23 @ Gateway2lease

This is an amazing price for the best-in-class hot hatch on the market. List price is over 30k, and usually you would be looking at £330/month with a hefty deposit as an absolute minimum (including a huge dealer discount)...£251.99/month with 10k miles/year, on a 6+23 deal (3+ option available).

To be crystal clear that means 6 months up front, then 23 monthly payments. That is standard for a lease so it's still comparable to others out there.

If I didn't already have one I would grab this deal with both hands..I got over 20% off list price when I bought mine (on a PCP) and that was amazing - this is even cheaper still..although its hard to quantify exactly how much on a lease.

For those that don't know about this beast, its a BMW 1 series F21 hatchback with a 315bhp 3 litre straight 6 engine, that will do 0-60 in 4.7 seconds.

That's supercar territory, and faster than the E series M3 and the brand new Audi S3 Quattro..whatever you think of it's looks - its exceptionally quick.

All of the other "hot hatches" in this price range top out at mid 200's for horsepower..the closest is the Merc A1 AMG, but that's some £200/month more expensive, and is no where near as fun to drive or nice inside.

This deal is for the 3 door standard manual - but you get a lot of kit as standard..full leather, Xenons, iDrive (but no nav), M performance wheels etc etc..Check the link or the BMW website for full details, I don't need to list it all here

autocar.co.uk/car…35i

These will go quick at this price i'm sure - similar to that amazing 335d deal from the other week..get em quick before they go...

you forgot to mention 6x upfront

wow that's amazing

ive just got an audi s3 stronic on pcp thats double this over 4 years

bmw may be mega ugly but its dead quick

There are some good PCH/PCP deals on at the moment, just ordered a Audi A6 Avant (s-line) on a 2 year contract for £270 PCM, March delivery!

I have said it before, that for those willing to think outside the box PCH/PCP is well worth a look.

MM

BMW 2 series now out - please consider that before splurging on this!

Have you called them up to confirm price please? Lease companies have a nasty habit of quoting a higher price when you do IMHO

to give you an indication the lastest s3 stronic I've bought will do 0-60 in 4.8 and 1/4 mile in 13ish secs and the bmw is a smidgen quicker ar 4.6 and 12.9 ...in comparison a bugatti veryon is 2.9 to 3.5 and 9.9 to 10.9 so not bad

its quick in a straight line till you come to a corner when its utter rubbish compared to an s3 or focus rs

mm agreed

best deal us tge audi tt at 190mth on pch 23 plys 6 mths drepo

or buy a 25000 ford focus at 17000ish

Good point, I've amended title and description to make it clear that its a 6+23 deal.

This is true, but the 235i is 6 months away, and some people need the practicality of a hatch - very valid point though.

Granted the new S3 is quicker through the corners, but not the focus rs! Also rubbish is a bit strong..its still very quick through the corners, hardly rubbish. The Audi TT and Focus RS are not in the same league, they are so much cheaper for a reason.

From a personal point of view after 3 months of ownership my M135i is the best car I have owned..still makes me grin every time I start her up Mine is a 5 door but more or less the same...

everyone seems very clued up on these deals. is there a good deal out there for a car with excellent fuel consumption and 20000 miles per year?
We'd love the vauxhall ampera but cannot justify 25000 for our new(ish) business.

spud211

until the rs3 comes out the s3 and the a45 are the nearest competitors

bmw cant sell em as they are one of the ugliest cars on the road thats why you can get 20% off. Great engine but needs better handling and nees 4 wheel drive

a45 is quicjer though but stupidly expensive

I looked at all..a45 was 50k when I specced it..bmw was 43k and s3 41k

though the s3 was slightly the slowest it had the best price and best handling best looking as the a45 isnt subtle and by far the best interior..bme was terrible inside

anyway if I didnt gave the s3 on order id get this in a heart beat as its probably the deal of the year

That's a very bad comparison, these hatches are very quick but a second difference if you're talking 10 to 11 seconds is hardly noticable whereas the minimum 3.5 to 4.5 here feels huge, it's approx 25% faster afterall, and is the difference between WOW and JEEZUS H. The other factor is it will keep pulling like that for far longer too and huge acceleration at silly speeds is either addictive or downright scary depending on your viewpoint.

Great car though all the same and seems like a bargain to me.

It's a hell of a price, but 300+bhp at the rear is useless in scotland

Winter tyres and a weight in the boot fixes that.

Where did you get that deal from? Was it PCH or PCP? Thanks

b1g1

no blooming s..t but its not a bad comparison. after all an extra 2million buys alot more...not

all I was saying is that these cars are pretty quick and way beyond the astra vxr and golf gti and ford focus st league

winter tyres wont fixed driving a bmw in sniw and ice. my neighbours have a 5 series and a jag. both are parked in the driveway in winter...pointless

then again if you a fun fast car for little outlay then get this

Do people really compare this car to Astra VXR, Ford ST/RS or Golf GTI ? This BMW is in different league ...

You won't get it unless you are a company or a director because I tried last time a similar but cheaper deal was advertised - there is a fiddle there somewhere

Absolute rubbish. I drove a 320d on proper M+S badged tyres all through last winter and never failed to make progress. The most capable car on the roads in really icy conditions is one wearing winter tyres. While all the fwd hot hatches spin their wheels furiously you make smug serene progress then when there is a bend you pass the 4wds in the ditch since while AWD offers grip to get going it doesn't make your brakes or steering work any better. If you neighbour left the cars on the drive then I suggest that was a choice not a necessity.

If that is a league of Ugliness then yes I agree.

Why all the boo's

300hp rwd is a magic combination for people who can handle it. Better than the sterile Audio 4wd experience.

This is incredibly cheap for such a performance motor but just beware of when you hand it back at the end of the lease... They'll hit you for every scratch and ding!

Hot!!

Re 4wd in a ditch hahaha proves your argument is rubbish.. Does that include 4wd drive are with Winter tyres.

Anyway go ahead and buy another set of wheels and tyres to fix a flawed car.. Bang goes another 2000.00

Red is fine on the racetrack for kick out the backend but pointless on the road

I wouldn't call the s3 stronic sterile

I've driven both and I found the s3 was far better. The BMW was too twitchy and seemingly keen to throw me into the nearest ditch. The audi was stable even at the limit.. if that's sterile then that's a stupid statement... in my book that's a well sorted car and safe.. Perfect for the road.

Old gen audi not current platform that the new s3 uses. Same goes for the interior which is leagues better than the BMW. A lot of reviewers I've seen are BMW fan boys. I tested the s3 and the ride what I'd call hard. BMW was just as hard. A45 was worse. Funny how he skip a over the BMW ugly part. That's because they don't care as they won't have to buy or I've with it

I think you misread...I'm in favour of the BMW

Did you bother to read what I said before engaging rant mode? My winter tyres and wheels (which cost me £600 by the way) mean that I can get about when others are unable, including those in 4wd hatches on high performance summer tyres like err s series Audis for instance. Of course a 4wd on winter tyres will be more capable still but you were arguing a minute ago that winter tyres are rubbish so make up your mind. The fact you think RWD is pointless suggest either you have never driven a good RWD car or work for Audi (who by the way sell far less 4wd cars then BMW). You have certainly never experienced winter tyres since you are rubbishing them based on your neighbour's winter travel plans.

I agree that the 1 series is ugly by the way but in every other respect it is top of the class.

Why is this so cold? Seems ridiculously cheap for a new M135i considering the list is over £30k!

Absolute bargain this.....great find!
