Not a bad price for an auto M140i shadow edition.

Personal - £287.99 PM
Business - £239.99 PM
Contract - 48 months
Initial - £2591.89 Personal/ £2159.91

You can tweak the upfront as it's 9 months down as a deposit but great car for a fairly good monthly price!

Awful deal. Never take a lease over 4 years, ideally only 2.

Not enough miles and too much deposit for that price/car

Im all for leasing, but not a good deal.

Maybe a silly question, but do you know if they cover the first year tax payment on this?
only about £20 more a month to up to 10k miles

4 year lease is incredibly long but suits those who can’t afford this car over 2/3 years lease

Well, that's hope they budget for the extra cost of servicing, MOT and out of warranty repairs.

if somebody can't comfortably afford the car over 2-3 years then 4 years shouldn't be an option unless it's specifically that term that really, really, suits them... rather than the budget
Likely to need tyres, a couple of services and an MOT in that time plus any out of warranty repairs. I accept it's not a monthly cost and you can plan for it but overall it could end up somewhere near the same.

4 years is a lot of time for circumstances to change too, particularly where low mileage is involved.
Wouldn't lease over 4 years. Cracking car though. Got mine on PCP for £500 down and £299 a month. Wasn't the shadow edition though.
These are also available massively discounted through the normal online discount car sites. 20 - 25% off.
Silly question, but how do you get to £14k over 4 years?

"If need doing"? I'm lucky if my tyres last 12 months and that's on 330. What's the point in owning one of these if it's not going to be driven 'enthusiastically' once in a while.

I’ve got an M2 which I treat well but regularly push quite hard, launch control, downshift to overtake etc. My first set of rears are just about to be replaced at 15k miles. They’re pilot super sports (and the car is an auto) - not sure if that makes a difference.

Assuming that you’re doing average mileage, maybe you need better tyres?

Where did you get the PCP deal from? Is it still running.
Crazy money considering you can get A6 BITDI for little more money. Yeah, completely different cars but you get hell of a lot of car with grunt to back it.

No. Was Tony Lewis (TRL) on the baby BMW forum. Think it's £399 a month now. If you type that into Google you will find it
Ice cold.
Never lease for longer than the manufacturer’s warranty period (3yrs in this case).
Mine is £300/m with less than £2k down, 10k

Thanks I just had a browse. Seems like there’s some reasonable deals on there, but yours looks to be right steal!

I’ve been debating a Golf R, M140i or similar for a little while. Still not sure if I should be sensible and go with a diesel option though... Either way, I can’t seem to find any decent deals about.

The good deals have dried up. I had the golf R deal from here before the m140. It was £2400 down and £180 a month Inc vat. Those were the days! A second hand golf R is a decent bet. Loads out there. Just go personal loan. M and s were doing one for 2.9% last month.

That’s one option. There seems to be some good deals on the CHL website through Santander. Volvo V60, V90 etc.

Eh?

This is a £35k car, good luck buying one and spending less on depreciation than this lease.
Just handed one back after having it for 6 months lucky to get it on a staff deal... All I can say it was a f**cking quick car and the gearbox is rapid! Working in the motor Industry I have been lucky to drive some decent cars, the 140i pound for pound is hard to beat with that pace! GET ONE!
