I love boardmans and have a couple. They used to discount them quite a lot around Christmas (I got my £1,600 carbon roadie for £1200 a couple of years ago) but not sure if they still do. This is a good deal in time for summer

I've bought one and got the quidco tracked already. With the 10% off from British Cycling it should come to an outstanding - £817.80

Boardman bikes are top stuff...... great price with all the discounts and cashback.

If your going to get a full suss go big or go home! this looks like a modern raleigh activator 2 with its cheap build quality and crappy components i would break this in less than 10 minutes.

Guess you've never actually ridden a boardman or read any reviews or read any of the many articles regarding the design and production?
See plenty of guys at local trails with attitude that you seem to have....big hitters great if your actually using them for what they are designed for, which 95% of what I see are not.
Guessing you don't do much uphill cycling on your 'big sus?'!
As a awesome all round bike that will see any decent rider demolish trails this is a great bike at a great price!

In my option a full suss is designed for one reason DH, and this my friends will not last on a downhill section unless you tackle it like a fairy but you XC boys who like to think your AM guys are fairy's so no wonder you think this is a good deal, if your an XC rider then you only need front suspension as you know!

Rob, you're* a ****. Full suspension allows you to be faster on the descents, it also offers comfort on trails and ascents when seated. MTBing, is always a compromise between gravity and uphills. You spec your bike to suit the type of riding you want to do. I built mine shifted towards DH. But I built it light enough that i can still ride uphill to the next descent comfortably. I don't care if whippets overtake uphill, I overtake them on the descents and never see them again. To suggest you should only get a DH bike is just daft. I very much doubt you will break the bike when you drop off your kerbs. This looks like good kit and will suit local trails. I doubt whoever buys this bike is planning on taking it to Antur Stiniog, however, if they did, I'm sure they'd be skooling your ass.

My point exactly you built your bike for DH! so who is the *****?

There is no point in any other type of riding in-less you’re a fairy!, you say "I built it light enough that I can still ride uphill to the next descent comfortably", unless you have a rear lockout your will be taking the pace out of every stride so what's the point in a full sus for XC use! by the time you had concord the mountain on your full sus I would of finished the DH section as well on my front suspension RC305, even if you were to ride my bike and then your full sus on the same track you know mine would be quicker all day long!

I never suggested you should get a DH bike, if you read my comments I state you don't need a full sus for XC riding and a front suspension bike is much better suited to the job.

It's funny I obviously struck a nerve calling you an XC fairy, but it's true! everyone who rides XC rides for the descent, if you like uphill climbing you should be on a road bike. the only reason why people buy full sus XC bikes is because they are too scared to hit the DH section to hard and my friend you are one of these people!

Also to suggest whoever buys this bike would be skooling my **** is another silly comment, and would suggest I really got to you! I wouldn't have one of the only 3 V10 MK5 apart from the syndicate team at the time of release in country if I only used it from dropping of kerbs!

I've never seen a car with forks, now that would be an interesting mod.
