Great series, but very disappointing and inaccurate ending.

Always the way.

That said, I loved it. And was surprised at how good Steve Buscemi's performance was.

I watched it all over the course of 3 weekends....

In reality, he was the exact opposite of guy he was playing. The proper bloke was a big, thickset fella.
Really enjoyed the start of the series, but it seemed to lose some of its appeal as it carried on.
Always wanted watch this, still haven’t got round to it, I believe the whole series is on Sky though for those who have it

IIRC didn't HBO cancel the show and so they had to wrap up much quicker than they originally planned? Something about production costs being too high owing to how authentic they were trying to keep costumes, scenery, vehicles etc. etc. and audience numbers didn't justify it.

I think that is true, however most of my favourite things to watch are HBO, and nearly every single one had a really disappointing ending.

One of the greatest show I ever watched, but couldn't watch it second time, wasn't happy with ending either but it was balanced fair ending, or they could have leave it open
