To quote Steven Wright, (the comedian, not DJ):

I used spot remover on my dog the other day. Haven't seen it since.....

IV REIv read some right horror stories from people using this, applying it to there dog then the dog has a fit and has to be put down

These type of flea treaments contain a nerve agent which is what kills the fleas. They ARE potentially very dangerous. I have not had a cat personally now for a few years but I do remember one treatment that was not Bob Martin that made my cat foam at the mouth.

All of these type of treatments are poisons. Some animals may be more sensitive than others. And the treatments may even kill the animal in certain situations. Do not put on broken skin. Make sure you wash your hands after use and keep small children under supervision for 24 hours after administering to any animal.

This can be dangerous stuff

Bob Martin stuff, apart from being potentially dangerous, doesn't work!! Even 99p will be wasted money, and even worse, you won't be able to use an effective spot-on treatment for several weeks afterwards at least, due to the dangers of overdosing them with this stuff. Do you really want to be stuck with fleas until it's safe to put on a treatment that actually works? Even Frontline (over-the-counter stuff) is dud nowadays, the Bob Martin stuff never even worked in the first place. Far better off with the likes of Advocate, Advantix, Stronghold etc, which may be more expensive but actually do the job they're designed for. I don't want to have a house crawling with fleas because I bought a cheap flea treatment that doesn't actually work!

This stuff is both ineffective and dangerous - I say this from experience, sadly.
Go to medicanimal or petmeds (go through topcashback for cashback) and buy some Advocate, or Frontline. imo Advocate is better than Frontline.
