If you're only looking to make one cup at a time maybe.

The deal posted is for a much much larger cafetiere.

You can only get one small cup with the Argos one - Debs one gets you a large mug or 2/3 cups.
Not worth £60 but a great deal at £18.

The cafeteire normally sells for ~£23 on Amazon and the travel mug £11-£13 depending on colour, so you'd normally be looking at about £35 for the set.

One warning, the travel mug does leak if tipped up, it's not designed to be carried in a bag or rucksack. I had one off Amazon but sent it back and got this instead, which is perfectly leakproof but more of a pain to clean.

Not as good as a proper flask but should last a couple hours at least.
The mug isn't leakproof and needs to remain upright.

Possibly, if it's easier for you to buy from Amazon Prime than John Lewis. That aside, I'd pay the extra £2 for the Bodum mug as a spare or extra. They're still pretty decent, very easy to clean, dishwasher safe, great for in the car, and if you really don't want it you can probably flog it for £10+

I have the 'Bodum Chambord' cafetiere that's included in the £18 set, I think the only difference over the £16 one you linked is the removable metal frame. Maybe easier for cleaning but very annoying when you forget to put the frame back on before filling it with hot water.

Debs deal will get you a large mug - I have this 1l one - Argos one gets you a small cup as only 350ml which I also have.
I bought the cup a while ago while on offer for £10. I have to say it's a bit of a damp squib, drink goes cold after a couple of hours and it leaks a little. I was seduced by its good looks and misleading reviews! If you're off walking anywhere/more things on your mind than keeping the thing upright you're better off with a standard flask. No leaks and drinkable all day

Thanks OP... ive just ordered. was planning on getting a stainless one as the coffee would stay warm for longer but I guess ill be using the coffee straight away so no need to worry. also its nice to see the coffee through the glass... adds a bit more to the coffee experience
amazing. i ordered now
Out of stock
Be sure not to touch any Bodum plastic. I had the plastic version of this coffee mug, and it cracked severely in hot water. Bodum refused to fix it.
The Welcome and Smart Start are pretty much just telling you how to buy more coffee.
