This is a great price for this set - the grinder sells on its own for around £25.00! Would make a great present for the coffeeholics at Christmas.

Make the perfect cup of coffee any time with this Fresh Coffee set from Bodum - ideal for coffee lovers.

Consists of the Bistro Blade Grinder that features a strong and durable stainless steel blade to achieve the required coarseness with button control, and Bodum's very own whole bean coffee (230g), it is ideal for nights in with friends.

I've think they've all gone now. Did you managed to get one?

Good value for a blade grinder, shame blade grinders burn the coffee and impair flavour.

Ooo, that's interesting, why do they do that?

All gone.

From what I understand, the speed of the blades cause heat to be given off, this has an effect on the flavour of the coffee. Similar to using water as soon as it's off the boil, rather than letting it cool slightly.

Burr grinders are the way to go, they crush the beans instead of having high speed spinning blades, I have one of these

Which is pretty good for the price, You do have to turn it by hand though, electric burr grinders are much more expensive
