This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

  • The mug is made of durable, heavyweight borosilicate glass
  • Plastic infuser
  • The infuser is compatible with a variety of cup sizes
  • Works with any type of loose leaf tea
  • The lid keeps tea warm while brewing and doubles as a trivet to prevent dripping

Great tea infuser. I have a couple of these for loose tea and they work great. Shame I paid nearly triple this price

Works with coffee too?
Nice one thanks, ordered 2
Thanks Op , bought 2
Heat added. A word of warning though - these strainers usually are made from netting and they have a tendency to rip easily and are rendered useless. We bought a Teapot from Argos months ago (on offer) for around £4 which brews 2 cups of tea but the strainer insert is stainless steel with very fine holes and will last forever. We can also use the strainer in individual mugs.
Thanks

I've got 2 of these and neither of the strainers have ripped. I thought the same would happen but the plastic netting has been very well fused to the plastic frame

Well, once you have the stainless steel ones, you don't go back to these types.
Try this pot with Rooibos Tea. Tasty yum yum.

Was about to reserve some at curry’s but then realised they aren’t double walled.

Valid point.
Is it only for brewing or can we place the kettle onto the electric oven as well.
Can’t get in on amazon yet st not available

Any other place at same price

The ones you bought from Argos, were they Bodum brand?

Jasmine is our favourite. Particularly the flowering pearls. Guess I’m superficial that way

Got my wife a glass teapot and some jasmine pearls. Great on a cold winters night

It's a mug, not a kettle and is glass, you can't put it on an electric stove.
mman200509/11/2019 15:27

Haven't tried but don't see why not

I don't see how this would work with coffee. Coffee needs to be pressed, like a French press, this wouldn't work.

There are some glass kettles which can be directly placed on the hot plates. So that’s why I was wondering this can be one of those.

Ah okay, that makes sense. Unfortunately, doesn't look like this can.
Curry's still have these in stock on clearance for £3.70 (in store collection only)
Well I'd advise against using a plastic strainer pesonally.

Now if they made this with a stainless steel strainer that'd be nice
