I never stated you get 6 tubs for the price of 1. You get 6tubs, a total weight of 12lbs. You misread.

Thats a tad unfair, wouldnt call them small. Im wondering where im going to keep 6 tubs in my kitchen. You wont find 12lbs of whey powder for this price anywhere else

if you've received them, what's their expiry date?
Wouldn't want to get them if short-dated

Original Poster

not recieved yet but they have skype support on the website and the chap seemed very happy to answer all my questions

I didn't mean small in a perjorative way. Just small compared to the 2.5kg tubs which I usually buy. For flavoured whey this is a pretty good deal.

to those who use this, is there any real benefit over eating good high protein foods such as chicken/fish ect or is it more to do with convenience?

Per seving it costs less than most other sources of protein you eat. So if you are looking for a high-quality protein at an economic price, Whey is just your ideal choice :giggle:

Convenience

Its main benefit is for those who work out quite regularly and need the extra protein to mend muscle. Normally have one scoop with milk before working out, one when getting back from the gym and another before bed, reduces the feeling of muscle strain the day after for me.

bulkpowders.co.uk/pro…=41

11lb here for £28.99 plus £4.99 delivery (£3.09 per lb)

or 22lb for £57.99 plus £4.99 delivery. (£2.86 per lb)

This deal works out at £3.33 per lb

But is a very good price.

Original Poster

looks good, its unflavoured but there is a link there for flavouring powder you can add. As it says "the hardcore just down it" nice find

It says it has 38g of protein?

38g per 100g of powder? Per serving??

edit : think its for 2 servings.

Wonder what the Fat and carb content is?

How about this one:

myprotein.co.uk/bul…o)/

It's top quality and it's 5lb for £14.99 (delivery is £3.99 flat rate, so if you buy more, it will work out cheaper)

some good finds there chaps, shame not many other people are joining in. Not many weight lifters on hotukdeals it would seem

dont know if there is any diference between that and the euro but i found the euro fine, i just use my shaker bottle.add the milk(i dont use water) ,milkshake powder, whey, few good shakes and its fine.

how do you work out, the price is for 6 tubs?
Looks like you only get 1 to me

recieved my order today
5kg of Whey Protein Concentrate 80 [NZ] [tubbed] £28.49
price matched via col's method (thanks col)

comes in a large plastic container (just like those large paint containers)
have to say great value, much cheaper than any high street store

tastes fine, a bit like weak milk (skimmed) and i'm very pleased its unflavored (you dont want all that junk they add in flavored ones)

should last just under two months (55.5 days for me) (3 times 30 gram servings a day)

anyway thanks to everyone in the thread

there is also www.sports-nutrition.net (AllInOne)which is basically reflex products without the frills. the products are manufactured by reflex, you pay reflex, just some of the products have slightly different profiles.

have ordered from them aswell as myprotein and unfortunately myproteins customer service isnt as good as it could be. absolutely no complaints with all in one.
