I just bought my man 20 bottles of boheme for £10 from Tesco as it was the cheapest I could find and I know he has drunk it before..He said it is a great price for a really nice tasting lager
I tried it and thought it was really tasty

These are 330ml bottles, so a proper size.

This deal works out at £1.52 per litre. As previously pointed out, in theory you can get this beer quite a bit cheaper at Tesco as they have 500ml bottles on a 3 for £2.00 offer. That is to say you get 7.5 litres for £10 as opposed to the 6.6 litres in the deal here. However, you can only order 12 bottles a time online and the shelves are always empty in store.

sorry, they are the 330ml bottles...

czech beer is the best! although it needs to be slightly pumped up with alcohol for the UK market as people want to get drunk faster. This Boheme is 4.7% whereas usually strongest czech beer Pilsner Urquell is 4.3% and draught beer in czech pubs could be even 3.5% but still tastes great!
go for it! definitely better than wife beater Stella.

Really nice beer ...Just don't buy the cans

Thats interesting, are the cans not as nice?

Just mentioning that this beer is made in a factory that produces Czech "Samson" beer, not "Budweiser Budvar", although both are from the same city of Budweis (Ceske Budejovice).

I went into my local Tesco Saturday Morning first thing.
I was told they only had two cases.
Are Tesco playing some sort of game?

I much prefer Staropramen. I've tried this stuff and it's ok - but I'll prob get some @ £10.

Good question. Normally I love the Czech beers and I haven't tried this one in a bottle. I know bottled is always better than cans but I have tried the canned version of this stuff and I thought is was rank. It was that bad I assumed it was from a bad batch.

The cans of boheme are packaged in Holland and don't taste anything like the bottled stuff.
I don't know what they are doing to it but it is like drinking a different beer.

Thank you

If anyone hasn't noticed, the packs of 6 x 330ml bottles of Boheme are now part of the 2 for £6.00 deal at Tesco. Obviously this also works out at 50p per bottle, but more stores seem to stock the 6 packs, so it's worth highlighting.
