goes nice with some orange juice

Alinshearah - sacrilege! can't believe you'd even think of adding orange juice to champagne.

How come the "Get Deal" button brings you back here?

Did a search on the Sainsbury's website - says it was originally £41.99. Probably an incorrect shelf edge label made by the store?

this is cheap, multi-manufacturer shiiiit. try some english sparkling..... kicks this into touch. just because a brand has good marketing does not mean its a good product....

Trying local store tonight.....

WIll let you know.

If you can get it delivered and are a first time shopper even with delivery charge £45 with code for two

Was available white rose Leeds at noon yesterday

Just stick a bottle of cheap white in the Soda Stream

Normally when they get people on the street to taste test Champagne and sparkling wines the Cava etc comes out best, so save your money and buy something most people prefer.
If you insist on snobbery then this is a great price for Bollinger.

need some for a wedding. should I go for this of moet?

Forgot that this was a site that people put personal views on their tastes....oh...it isn't.....that's right....it's about deals....NOT about what you do or don't like!

Nice with a drop of Castrol GTX

Have too agree i like the small unheard of producers.Theve always tasted better to me and adding orange juice is the chavviest thing ive heard.Might aswell crack the lambrini out.Would you like a straw with thay madam?

yellowtail sparkling white is a lovely alternative to champagne & on offer for £6 at Asda nationwide at the min :-)

..it's called a Mimosa.

WouterJ

It's Buck's Fizz.Mimosa is triple sec, champagne and orange juice.

Triple sec is optional, while the two different cocktails actually refer to the proportion of champagne to orange juice.

Half price. lmfao. Bollinger is not £50.

£25 is a very decent price for it though.

The normal bollinger is only 1/3rd off (down to £27). This is the more expensive bottle

Unless I'm missing something here, this deal appears to be for the Special Cuvee NV...and that is the bog standard NV Bollinger...so not "the more expensive bottle". Normally no more than £42, and generally around the mid to high 30s

i've been to sainsburies and its 1/3rd off. so is £25.

I think there must be 2 types instore.

This is £25 but only has a third off whereas the OP has posted a pic of the NV which is £25 and half price.

Just to confirm...

Bollinger Special Cuvée = Bollinger NV

There is no other type of Non Vintage Bollinger on sale in this country. So, my guess is that Sainsbury's are telling a few porkies in store if they are saying its half price @ £25. As I said though...£25 is still a very good price for this.
