BOLS Liqueur - 2 for £10 In Store @ Asda

Found 12th Nov 2009
All BOLS liqueur is on a 2 bottles for £10 in Asda.

My local store had:
Triple Sec
Cherry Brandy
Creme de Cassis
Creme de Menth
Apricot Brandy
Creme de Cacao Brown
Creme de Bananes
Blue Curacao

This was from memory... there may have been others.

Not sure if it's the cheapest around but a quick search shows online stores selling it for around a tenner for one bottle.

Their cocktail sight looks pretty interesting :

Same here. I keep checking the offers on these in Asda as I work over the road from my local one and this is the first time I've seen these so cheap.

Oh and Creme de Menth and Baileys IS good!

hot... the Creme de Cacao Brown was only £4.80 on its own though.... dont know why it tastes just as good as the rest

Oh right... glad I didn't bother with that then. Will grab that after the offer finishes.

I got the Triple Sec (£10.46 usually) and the Cherry Brandy (£7.42) so not a bad saving. Looking at Asda online they have a few of them available but not as many as they had in store just. Most seem to be around the £7.50 mark.

If they do the Orange Curacao, buy some and mix 1 litre gin, 1 litre red vermouth and 1/2 litre orange curacao together and you'll have 2 1/2 litres of full strength Original Pimms base, not the wishy washy stuff they sell nowadays as Pimms. Use in the same way as ordinary Pimms but it's heaps better, cheaper and stronger. We have made our own for years but the curacao is a bit tricky to find.

Not made Pimms but do like the Orange Curacao... Asda don't usually have it though unfortunately. :-(

Organge Curacao is just a type of Triple sec ... so you could just get that instead

hot deal btw, might have to head down to asda who always seem to do random booze deals for the likes of me.... I bought 6 bottles of green chartruese there for £30 a few years back

Yeah but it has a blend of bitters in it that I cant reproduce. :-(

I stocked up on the triple sec though for Cosmopolitans mainly. :-) Can't wait to get mixing!!

Their cocktails site is quite clever - I don't think they've quite thought through how difficult it is to scroll a list of 1000s of cocktails in such a tiny portion of the screen, but at least they've got a search that works. And contrary to what I expected, they don't only list cocktails that include their liqueurs. Pretty clever really and planning a trip to Asda for some neccessary flavourings that we've been lacking! Nice one Op!

Oh, and Asda site says its on until 31st December

not in my local Asda
