I don’t think this is coming on sale till a week longer
Heat added op ,
Will pick up a couple ,
Muchas gracias amigo !
I have a cheap MDF one and I think it's great. I could put one of these ones to good use an' all. Cheers.
Sheds getting a makeover lol cheers op
They are also doing these as 2 for £25.
I have similar, and instead of all my units being tall as shown, I made one of them into two benches.
I’m not so lucky with MDF shelving they just warp within a year so metal shelving is a big plus.
Not sure on this exact one but i love the homebase ones. Ideal for a shed or a garage.
Not keep on the mdf shelved ones as they go so mouldy in sheds
Good for garage?
look good for light duties, they are often rated a fair bit higher re weight capacity though

2 for £25 is in the title
I had the same problem with the MDF shelves going mouldy and warping so I thought these were ideal - I wount be putting more than 40kg on a shelf anyway just pots of paint odd tool etc

How does this from Lidl compare with these from B&Q at a tenner?

The more expensive is the Lidl one. The bonus is probably boltless assembly, weight capacity upped, a bit more generous sizing and perhaps a longer warranty

The Lidl one say you have to always use safety gloves when assembling, so assume risk of cutting up your hands unless very careful.

The Lidl one also requires the shelves to be attached to a wall.

They weren't two for £25 in my local Lidl.

Bought 4 sets anyway.

I went back down and asked. It seems that Lidl discriminate against those of us in Northern Ireland!

They are still decent value at £14.99

Yeah, I'm going to try again on Thursday since there's a promo on. One of my local stores had a completely empty aisle to fill.

I wonder if it would stop rocking about if the reviewer followed the instructions that this must be attached to the wall?

I’m put off by this one after reading a few past threads on this. I am guessing the similar ones from Homebase and B&q et al for around the same price have similar ‘quality’

The two for £25 discount is now live. They were £14.99 each only at the tills until now.

Remember to wear suitable gloves and to tether the rack to the wall when assembled. Even the wrapped units in the shop had sharp careers sticking out of the packaging

I was waiting till today to get these but after watching that review I'm definitely put off, thanks for sharing the link.
Only good for light weight goods, not suitable to heavy items
I bought a couple of these last year and made the error of putting them up by myself. Took me flipping ages on a scorching hot day with a bit of blood, sweat and swearing in the mix.

Once up, they are reasonably sturdy and they provide a lot of storage space but I'm pleased that I needed to attach them together at the corners to fit them in my shed. Having them attached with zip ties makes it pretty much impossible for them to collapse though I did also screw them to the stanchions in the side of the shed.

It's a bit of a faff to build them as you have to basically hammer the shelves into place using a rubber/wooden mallet and this is not at all easy if you're trying to do it yourself. Good value if you have a friend to help!
