I've just come from my local Sainsburys and they are currently having a promotion on the Bond 2 disc Ultimate Editions. On a cardboard promotional stand I counted at least 12 different movies. I generally buy blu-rays now but for those that hav'nt upgraded to BD yet I think this is a bargain price at £2.99 each.

I can't say for certain but as the dvd's were on a special promotional stand I would say there's a good chance of it being nationwide.

I'd definately pickup a copy of Live & Let Die if it was at that price.

so in theory if they have the 20 films not including Casino Royale & Quantem Of Solace you could get them al for just under £60

They had this at my local sinsburys so it must be nationwide.

Just got back from my local superstore - they had the branded cardboard standee near the tills and the entrance but it wasn't immediately obvious as it was on the back of the Quantum of Solace display - basically that's why the deal exists - there weren't any others in the proper DVD/entertainment aisle. I picked up Live and Let Die, Thunderball, Goldfinger and The Man with the Golden Gun. None of the others were ones I wanted, but I'm going to check back in a couple of days to see if they've replaced the stock - it seems to be all the titles in the offer. A really great deal! Thanks Arrowmaker.

(For info: Goldeneye, World is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Tomorrow Never Dies, Living Daylights, Licence to Kill, A View to a Kill & Moonraker were also on the stand).

Hot. Thanks.

Managed to pick up a further six for my collection. Could not locate the final three I needed though :-(

Didn't have these at two Sainsbury's I visited :-(

Just got back from Sainsbury's I can confirm that there are only 12 film that are on offer and the assistant says that is all and nationwide.

Also they are NOT £2.99 they are in fact £2.92 as they take the VAT cut off.

For those that still need more to complete collection just got back from Morrisons and noticed they have a new stand with all the 2 disk Bonds (Not CR/QOS) at £3.99 - Not as cheap but still a great buy.

They had that for £2.99 at a few local Sainsbury's in the stand. I managed to pick one of those up.

They did not have the latter 3 which are the ones I am missing though.

Yes I picked up OHMSS as well. My Sainsbury's still has The Living Daylights on display too.

I'm pretty sure it's for all the films - the standee even has From Russia With Love on it, but you have to be lucky on what stock they received. I'm still on the look out for five titles: Dr No, From Russia With Love, You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only.

I guess the woman at Sainsbury's had no idea what she was talking about I guess when she said they were not selling all the Bond titles.
Still on the look out for about 8 others, kind of thinking now if I should of just bought the complete boxset instead, lol.
I have to say the quality of the one I flicked through (Goldfinger) looked amazing.

Popped back into my local Sainsbury's today and most of the 2 disc sets have gone. The stand which was full of these titles is now pretty much filled with the Quantum of Solace. Personnally I did'nt buy any of these UE's because I have all of the original SE's. That plus the fact that I've just started ordering the Bond blu-rays. At £10 each I think it's worth paying the extra money, especially since I've learnt that, in addition to getting the best looking versions of these films, a lot of the documentries have also been remastered in HD.

I managed to pick up the ones I was missing from Morrisons. They are selling the same sets for £3.99. Not quite as good as the Sainsburys offer, but still cheaper than online.

Popped in today and stumbled acrossed these, glad someone has already posted this offer as it is HOT!

Heat added!

They are all sold out in our local branch now, plenty of copies of Quantum Of Solace, lol.

In the Sainsburys at Huddersfield they had all of the ones that you listed as being absent from your Sainsburys except for Dr No. They also had a few more like Die another day, Living Daylights, License to Kill, Goldfinger, etc, etc. Really good deal! They were on the end of the aisle in a special James Bond stand.
