Just missed the £35 Blu Ray deal but this still looks good ... 24 (!) Bond movies up to Spectre. Yes no Never Say Never Again or original Casino Royal but .... lots of good stuff in there. Would suggest moving quick if interested as I missed the BluRay deal by 1 hour of procrastination.

This is going to go white hot 🔥 🔥 flame
Great deal! Thank you!
Just paid £40 for the blu-ray version from Zavvi
Favourite Bond... Moore as he was my generation's 007. Film... The Spy who Loved Me. If I had to say best Bond and best film, I could make an arguement for all (starting with Sean) except Lazenby... who starred in arguably the best Bond film. I recognize that my favourite films aren't necessarily the best but have a special place in my heart.
DVD, the format that just won't die.
The blu-ray version came with digital versions, so that they now all appear on my google account. It might be worth paying the extra for that.

Liked all Bonds except Brosnan. Just never took to him. Goldfinger my all time favourite although actually I have a soft spot for The Living Daylights. Octopussy favourite Moore film.

Goldfinger in my top 3
I have a soft spot for Die Another Day (due to Toby Stephens) but it is as ridiculous as a Fast N Furious movie.
Darn hoped digital version with this too :/ agree 40 at zavvi sounds good
And agree about brosnan but love goldeneye even with Robbie Glasgow gangster coltrane-ski

Strange how we are all different where James Bond is concerned. I think Roger Moore was a nice guy in real life and think that comes across in everything I have seen him in. He portrayed bond extremely well. I didn't like Sean Connery as bond. I think the times dictated how he acted the role but he came across as being extremely arrogant and sexist but the movies were good and even if a little far fetched at times. I don't think Roger Moore did any bad bond movies but my favourite Bond was Brosnan with favourite movie being Goldeneye. The next best would be any of the Roger Moore ones. I haven't really warmed to any of the Daniel Craig films with perhaps exception to Spectre. I thought Casino Royale had a good start and end with about an hour and a half of boredom in between. I have watched Quantum of Solace maybe 3 times now and still can't seem to get to grips with what on earth is going on. Skyfall I criticised quite badly to start with but after second viewing not a bad film. I think the problem is we are used to Bond being a super hero and in that film he was a broken man in some respects. Lack of gadgets I think has spoiled the DC films but Spectre I enjoyed. I certainly wouldn't have a problem turning over if the first two Daniel Craig films were being shown.

agree with bits of this but ... sean connery we can debate him as bond but live and let die, diamonds are forever and other bonds he was in were good. Love Goldeneye too .. top 3 for me. Quantum of Solace was a mess - Marc Foster didn't really get to grips and the opening sequence with the over fast cutting made you feel seasick.

The director of Goldeneye did (I think) Casino Royale and that's another top 3 for me ... really well plotted and kept moving and Eva Greeeeeen. Wow. Even Jane Seymour and Barbara Bach can't match her. Skyfall grows on you, I agree. A few lazy tropes (Bond is tired but indispensable... yawn) a good baddie and Judie Dench hamming it ... what's not to like.

Spectre has one of the best ever openings until the tedious helicopter bit. Other parts of it good but Lea Seydoux. Really ? Why ? Fingers totally x'd for April 2020 and Craig's swansong.

Most of them don’t now. See the Blu Ray thread for associated rage and confusion.
Are there ever any good digital deals on these worth holding out for?
Controversial opinion I know but my favourite Bond was Timothy Dalton, massively under rated IMO.

Just bare in mind that the Blu-ray version flicks between £35 and £50 on Amazon, I check my wishlist daily for changes and it does move around quite often. So if it's £49.99 today, just check back tomorrow or the day after, might lower again.
*Edit* Just checked Amazon now and the Blu-rays are £35 currently.

That's why I liked Connery's Bond, true to the character, 'arrogant and sexist'. You don't have to like those traits, it doesn't have to be you. If every protagonist had to fit my ideal human being, I'd give up watching any movie!

Good point. I haven't seen many Connery films that weren't Bond but he was good in Entrapment. I thought Roger Moore played it better with charm.

Favourite Connery Bond = Goldfinger.
Favourite Moore Bond = Live & Let Die or perhaps a View To A Kill
Favourite Brosnan Bond = Goldeneye
Favourite Dalton Bond = Both if them lol
Favourite Craig Bond = Spectre

Worst bond movie has to be On Her Majesties Secret Service and wasn't keen on Diamonds are Forever and Tomorrow Never Dies.

Still watch them all again, even the bad ones for me.
