Bonne Maman Jams £1.50 in the Co-op

Found 16th May 2013
I have a relatively small Co-op nearby but was impressed to see they had jars of Bonne Maman for £1.50. Raspberry, Strawberry, Apricot and Blackberry as far as I can remember. Could be more in bigger stores.

Well I like it anyway.

Good jam?

Yes very good jam,:) I have about 30 jars in my cupboard when they were on sale at Asda a while back for about £1 a jar

I'm sure there's a joke here somewhere about your cupboards being jam-packed but I just can't see it...

I have no evidence to support it, but I doubt very much that these are conserves using that definition, ie. made using dried fruit.

Believe me you get sick of overstocking when you find a deal,my family HATE! toblerone now after I bought loads of the 400g ones from Asda after fathers day last year. No doubt they will be sick of mentos and fruitella after I stockpiled and bought 216 tubes yesterday then posted this deal hotukdeals.com/dea…146

What do you do with all that jam??

This is the best jam.

Store it?

Heat added. I tend to buy the Lidl or Aldi conserves these days - same amount of fruit as the more expensive ones but a lot cheaper.

this thread reminds me of Britain's worst hoarder. All that jam - actually this jam is lovely, will look out for some (one jar!)

made with 35g of fruit/ 100g of product ...... no thank you ....even at this price

Tesco are doing their Finest Conserves for £1.25 at the moment (Raspberry, Strawberry, Apricot & Hedgerow). Usually £1.50. Made with 55g of fruit per 100g - more than Bonne Maman. Excellent quality and at £1.25 a bloomin' STEAL!
