They had these in Ikea a while back. Pretty good but probably not going to satisfy the Bonsai purist.
Oh I love bonsai trees!
Nice

Nice. Question for the green fingered guys, which one out of the three is the most hardy between them? Segeretia, Ligustrum or Carmona.

Ligustrum, I would imagine - more commonly known as privet

They always die on me, have a stack of empty bonsai pots in my shed
That rules me out then, I kill artificial plantsoO
gonna buy one for my san Daniel.... Daniel san.
like venus fly traps, these things are tough to keep well!
I love Bonsai trees but I always kill them so think I'll save myself the trouble! lol, nice find though, heat added!
"So what, if I eat... This Bonsai tree, I automatically become fun and interesting, do I?"
"Yes."
Ooh always wanted one of these. Heat added.
Bonsai trees are extremely difficult to keep alive. You have to be careful not to under or over water them. Also be careful where you place them as they don't like chilly air and make sure you don't over-prune them. It might also be worth repotting them straight away as I'm guessing the suppliers of Aldi don't provide the best soil for Bonsai trees. Ideally you should repot every two years as well.
They don't have this offer at my local Aldi.

I guess the branch is too small.

Ahh very good find Daniel son
I'll stop now.
I'm quite surprised that people say Bonsai trees are hard to keep, really. I bought one for my sister in October last year, but I wasn't going to see her until December last year. The only instruction the seller gave me was to water them about every 2-3 days and make sure they don't ever dry out. You water them by placing the pot in a saucer filled with water (the pot should have holes underneath) and wait for a few minutes, you would see the soil turn moist rather quickly, less 2 minutes if I remember correctly. I placed them by my window. Whenever I closed the curtains, I closed them with the bonsai tree behind the curtains. I did this and they lived well for the time they spent with me. The plant seller assured me they are quite strong. I asked because I was taking them home with me to Nigeria, was my sister's Christmas gift last year. They survived the 6 hour flight in an air plane and I don't think baggage compartments are pressurised to the level of the cabin(If they do get pressurised). It didn't die in Nigeria, even though it's regularly above 30C and my sister forgot to water them a number of times.

True, they're not strictly 'bonsai' . One thing to watch for is the smaller leaved ones do tend to drop their leaves, not a lot you can do to stop them. Ive had large ligustrum for several years now, very low maintenance ,it does actually look like a small tree.
Banzaaaaaaaaaaaaaiii.......................... oops sorry kinda branched off on the wrong root there.............;)
