Firstly.

Goto Virgin Holiday's Website and get a quote, Then phone up your local Debenhams store (Speak to the Virgin Desk Area to match the online price. Confirm that they will allow you to use Debenhams's Gift cards to Pay for your holiday. (Get them to confirm with the store manager that you can pay using g/c. most Debenhams stores will allow you to as holidays MUST go via the Debenhams till.

Then buy from the website that is allowing you 20% off Debenhams gift cards
hotukdeals.com/vou…342

You will get 20% off your holiday, Last years I use Debenhams gift cards to pay for a £10k holiday!

Thanks to
goonertillidie who posted the 20% off code.

On another note, you can do this buy getting the Debenhams cards of ebay, then going in the store to pay using them.. but no mass buy on eBay you will put the price up as a shortage of cards raises the price.

Brand new to Debenhams, your guests can add money to a Debenhams giftcard recognised by Virgin Holidays and help you fund your honeymoon.

Was just looking at a ski trip to usa, virgin were £750 and that was £150 cheaper than others like iglu so hot but sounds messy. Anyone else confirm success?

Once you have confirmed that Debenhams store you choose will allow you g/c I would buy them in £500 as they are internet printed ones.

Where did you go Henlans for £10k?!!

More importantly, what the hell did you do for £10k

Its very messy but well worth it. when I did this I got the holiday for pretty much free as I could buy the g.c in Tesco without paying with money but that's another story. I would buy £25 or £50 vouchers and then in store they would then add them to 1 card. it took a while but it works.. call your local Debenhams store to make sure.

this one you can buy in £500 at a time.

If your going to book a holiday to orlando then a website to visit is thedibb.co.uk really good site.

yep

To get more than £100 of vouchers, can you just do orders of £100 each and use the code. Or will the code only work once on an account?

I think that's to do with travel money or insurance.

Be careful if you choose to try this.
I bought £1000 as a test 2 years ago and VH refused them at first.
Managed to get them to take them eventually but definately wouldn't chance it again.
VH quote that they are a concession and have no trading agreement with debehams vouchers.

that's why I said to ask the store first.. because virgin holidays has to put the transactions via the Debenhams till they let me. I know of 6 stores that allow it as people talk about it on the dibb.. most do. just check first.

Yeah Henlans,
That's how we got them to take the £1000 we had in vouchers by telling them it was honeymoon present.
After plenty of hassle about the amount of vouchers we wanted to use VH finally took them so It did work but TBH I wouldn't try it again. I agree that you should ask first and try a small amount first.
My holiday was over 12 grand so it would of been some saving if I could of managed to pay with vouchers every time.
