Boombeatz Retro Turntable. In the style of the Crosley Cruiser players that retail at £79. saw these in the new Chelmsford B&M should be available in most branches they come in red & black
Cheap enough as a present for a teenager or someone that wants to experience vinyl or just the occasional listen to some old records.

Spec:

Handmade wooden MDF cabinet finished in red or black leather effect material with chrome plated fittings.

Belt drive turntable with auto stop which plays 33, 45 & 78rpm Vinyl Records.

Complete with carrying handle.

Features:

Built-in stereo speakers with 1.2 watts RMS per channel power output
RCA output
AUX In
3.5mm headphone sockets

Please think further ahead. With a long enough 13 A extension lead and the 3.5mm headphone sockets this could provide personal/portable music on the go. Who knows it might catch on. (Good spot heat added).

Roof mounts sound totally unergonomic. Bonnet mount sounds doable on the MG. Anyone got a link to a 1 mile extension lead (weather proof preferably), live in Scotland

1 mile don't think such a thing exists you could always get a plug converter that plugs in to your cigarette lighter run it off your car battery

Don't know why this is expired as they're still available in B&M. Has anybody bought one yet that can let me know if they're worth buying please.

only put it for 1 month at most didn't know how long it would be available
if you want to know if it's worth getting one see hotukdeals.com/dea…e=2 there are some comments for this player on there apparently the platter is wobbly and the arm is loose but it works ok

Thankyou, I clicked your link and had a read of the comments. The person that had a problem with loose platter just tightened the screws inside as they were a bit loose.
Fairly tempted to buy one, I kind of miss the old days of actually physically owning music rather than downloading it. Also the older tracks seem to sound better on vinyl.
