Do folk use these daily or is it just the kind of thing thats kept in the garage for an emergency when your child has a friend over and you need to drive them home? I thought folk used high-backed boosters?

This was willenhall, their baby event ends tomorrow so I'd look out for more reductions :-)

Wow, that looks comfy......:-/

At the end of the journey the child's bottom will look like a chimp's bottom :-(

They might be a bargain but I wouldn't use one as an everyday car seat. My friend is an a&e nurse and as a result sees the aftermath of rta's on a regular basis. There is a good reason her 9yr old still travels in a high backed booster! Great price for what it is but if you need a booster for regular use wait for the graco or britax highbacked one to go on offer, both can be picked up for under £30 during these baby events & similar sales.

I recently bought something similar for when my nephew & nieces visit, which cost 5 times the price. Heat added.

Could be handy for taking away on holiday if hiring a car

good price for a spare. wouldnt use this over a full backed seat. safety first not price.

moulded cheap plastic.

very comfortable im sure.

Cold, even at this price.

Great price!!! I have 3 nieces and a little sister I sometimes pick up from school or take out. Absolute nightmare rallying round trying to get ahold of seats for them off different family members when I need them and just can't afford to buy 3 when they're usually over £10 each! Plus ... I couldn't fit 3 high backed ones in the back of my micra if I wanted to! Heat added!!

Had them in Verwood this morning and high full seat £25

nowt to think about at this price!

Now I have some expensive isofix high backed boosters with side protection (Cybex Solution X Fix) and they still have a plastic base with pretty thin padding so the "not comfy" comments I don't think hold true (as little ones don't weigh as much as us grown-ups).

I would agree with other comments about not providing any side protection though and would only use these for occasional / emergency use.

these seats maybe banned in the near future

I've just bought 2 in Leeds...well worth £2.50! My children love them and said they're comfy so I'm happy with that.

I worked as car seat expert for 8 years, and if you saw the crash videos which i saw, which were banned for general public, you would never use these boosters again, terrifying.

When do the even end x

Surely better than no booster or high-back seat at all though given it puts the seat-belt in a more appropriate position?

No booster or high-back booster seat would be illegal though.
