That seems the prediction. Hope so. Last year drove everyone insane. Just hope the selfish people who use it as a cash and carry leave some for the ones who can’t queue for an hour before it opens

They won't and the Boots staff won't do the "only 6 per person" rule either. I've seen people trolley 20 to 30 gift sets of the same nature. I recently went in and saw loads of protein bars on clearance. She only let me buy 6 and told me to come back tomorrow. Apparently things on sale or clearance are only 6 per person!

Just watch Ebay tomorrow and see the Soap and Glory sets all go on at once. Lol.

I wouldn't mind stocking up on the shower gel gift sets but can't be bothered waiting in a queue in this weather or playing rugby tackles once I am in the shop.

I still think people who shop there throughout the year and spend a lot should be sent a golden ticket to enter the shop half an hour before all the others who only turn up for the sale.
It's a weird one, this year. I counted the days in previous years and I'm not too bothered this year!! Maybe they've left it too long (can't remember the dates but I'm pretty sure it wasn't end of January before).

Watch the people grab 1 or 2 trolleys or several of the large bags and just scoop whatever they can into them and then list them on eBay.

Yeah usually goes to 70% off and is absolute carnage in store the day it does.
I am not going. I had a look in two Boots and there isn’t anything I want

I find they do the same stuff every year. Maybe I can sell back some of the stuff I bought with 70% off last year and still have in the cupboard waiting to be opened . Still good value so have some heat
Does any one kno what time it starts instore

They can’t do as postage cost £3/£4 etc

Yes they do. Buy for £4 and sell for £20 with free p&p. Happens every time.

Or they keep for car boots

I doubt there website could handle the 70% off sale.

Their website did - just about - I would sleep on the couch and wait for the page to refresh at 3am-ish

Maybe it was too high maintanence with people complaining about glitches in the website - not sure as I don't work for Boots HQ.

You're right, Google tells me 2019's was 1st February (I always have it in my head it's January) - oh well. Might get up early and join the scrum!
It is online aswell but most of the best sets are instore only. X

Not
Not a lot of 'gifts' online eithe
70% off and their still making profits just show how over priced stuff it the people be acting like wild animals in store
That No7 set will be like finding a flying pig
Anyone know what stock is like a Meadowhall please?
Stock levels are always refreshed in my local as the sale goes live in store. They bring lots out from back room so assume it's all excess stock shipped in from warehouse
Not really sure how much stock they will have left or will bring out because all the shelves are now filled with Valentine's stuff and tanning products. Unless they just leave stuff out on the floor and it's a proper scrum.

Good luck to anyone who goes. Hope the 70% sale starts tomorrow because I am sure they delayed it twice last year. Hope you all get loads of bargains.
Will pop in a have a look tomorrow as I’m in town anyway , won’t be doing the 8am queue though as my local has hardly anything left , the shelves have been moved back and filled with other things . I would say we usually have about 10 aisles plus and last week they were down to about 4 short ones .Huge amounts of lavender yardley sets and a few Harry Potter bits but nothing I would personally be interested in . Also no space for bringing extra out really so I feel like it’s going to be a totally different experience to the last 10 years plus . Since I’m normally in a queue with in excess of 60 people at 8am I feel there will be a lot of disappointed people there unless they have done the traditional reccy beforehand. But i know I won’t be able to resist just popping my head in to make sure
Ill wait for 90% off

I hate that , last year I was super, super upset, as went to Big boots round 1h away from me , Omg ppl was like animals grabbing 2trolleys each , And two womens took half shelf each of Ted Baker sets, I asked one of them sorry could I get 2sets please as u and your friend are taking all, she sed yes , you can buy them of me .. I was lost for words, I went to tall that to staff member should it not be 6itemes each?? As two womens took all shelf , but guy on tills replay to me sorry we are to busy to count who has 6 or who has 10 same items, and I end up not getting even one of this nice Ted Baker sets🤧🤧
