Had a leaflet in post
Collect £12 worth of points when spending £50
Leicester Wednesday 1 October
Fosse park tues 2 October
From midday
Check your local city and stores as days may vary
Hope this helps

Remember if you drive and are planning to go to the Boots event, buy gift cards from Morrisons to use at the event to save money on your petrol.

Every £50 of giftcards purchased will save you 5p off a litre of fuel. Can add up to a good bit if you have a lot of Christmas shopping to do

Thanks for this was wondering when they were going to start. Fingers crossed it's the same time as clinique bonus time! Happy days

I got a leaflet in too mine is -
The Plaza, East Kilbride Thursday 2nd October 12-9pm
Glasgow Fort, Glasgow Thursday 2nd 12-10pm

love the xmas shopping events! thanks

Anyone know when the boots gift guide is out?

is there any way I can find out online?

id also like to know if you can find out online too, i wanted to do some 3 for 2 xmas shopping at same time too.

To see where your nearest Christmas shopping event is:

On boots.com scroll to the bottom and click 'store locator'.

Enter your postcode, expand 'find additional store services' and click 'Christmas shopping evenings'.

Click 'find'.

Hope this helps!

Is there on online code for this offer yet.?

The points event online gives you the points automatically, there's no code required. However, in the vouchers section there are currently two Boots codes, one for £10 off £70 and another for 10% off when you spend over £100.

I have no clue when the event will be but it's usually early October to coincide with the catalogue release the week before.

I received a leaflet/card last week.

Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird and The Gyle shopping centre are the 2nd of October.

Anyone know when the boots gift guide is out?

I have a feeling it will be at the end of this month in time for the events at the beginning of October. I received my leaflet about the shopping event to went to my local store for the guide but none there yet.

This is probably a silly question but do you have to spend £50 on just xmas stuff or can it also be hair, makeup ect?

i would guess its on anything in store (besides as nice2 said formula stamps and gift cards), and purely named the xmas event cos of the time of the year (well not really 2/3 months to go but when all the stores start getting they stuff out of it)

You can usually spend it on pretty much anything apart from the usual baby formula, stamps and gift cards I think

Yes it can definitely be spent on anything

Yea can be spent on anything. I bought £50 of follow on baby milk (6+ months) the other year and got the points, it's only first stage milk u cannot get points on. Also, through me doing that and being part of the baby club, I got even more points as it's 10 points per £1 on baby items

I did this on-line last year, got loads of nappies and wipes on offer, divided between few offers over £50 and had loads of points too

Is the 3 for 2 on as well as £12 when u spend £50...?????

I can't seem to find it online when my local boots event is. Has anyone else found the link?

Yes that's the whole point of the Christmas shopping events.

3 for 2 and the £12 worth of points to entice you in
They always have at least 3 events at stores before Christmas. If you go to the first one you will be given a coupon at the till when you spend £50 for an extra 500 points to use at the next event.

I went to all three last year so ended up with a good stack of points.

If you go to the store locator and type the name of your local store it may be showing there - mine is

Store locator: boots.com/web…051

Type in the name of your town, make sure you click on the actual branch you want so it displays the store hours etc if they have a Christmas event scheduled it will be showing there under "Changes to Standard Opening Hours" and in red it says XMAS SHOPPING EVENING.

Me too - as soon as the book is out I'll be on the case looking to see what to buy I work close to Boots so often pop in anyway - sometimes I order online and collect but go via TopCashBack if I do that, I have £87 worth of Boots points built up already from various things during the last year so will add to that, last year I used my points on buying gift experiences for family members

Maybe they are available from today:) definitely none at weekend, will pop back to my local store for a nosey

Hi
Would anyone know -if I was to spend £100 would I receive x2 of £12 in points back or would I have to split it into two transactions of £50?

Love this, buy all pressies you need for family and friends etc and then treat myself in January!!

The £12 of points are only applied to a single transaction. What I do is go in spend just over £50 collect the points take the items to my car and then go back in and spend another £50+

Actually you don't need to do that, the terms are 1200 points per £50 spend instore (it's usually higher online but they do sometimes have promotions on) so if you spend £100 instore you get £24 worth of points, I work very close to Boots so have been using this to my advantage for years, have done it online as well without any problems.

Anything over £50 usually just gets 4 points per £1 until you hit the next £50 then in adds on the £12 and continues at the 4 points per £1 again until you hit another £50 and so on - hope that makes sense

Nothing showing for Bromley in Kent. does this mean there isn't one ?

I think they are probably still planning most of them. Some stores have just posted theirs early, I know my store try to squeeze about three or so in before Christmas so getting one in early in beneficial to them. It's worth checking again at a later date or even asking your local store if they know when theirs is on - even if it's not gone to press yet they should still know if they are holding one are roughly when it is.

Why on earth would do that? It's 1200 points for 'every' £50 you spend. No need to go running in and out, waste of time for no reason!
