Obviously INSTORE only.

At the moment you have the meal deals that Boots does - either a sandwich or pasta salad (with chicken/tuna etc) or the like, plus a bag of crisps/bar of choc or the like and a drink.

However it has come to my notice that you can do the following:

-Grab your sandwich or pasta salad
-The big 200g-ish bags of sweets found on the isle ends also work in the deal - the big £1.89 bags of maltesers, revels, m&m's, minstrels and the like ALL work
-Currently there is BOGOF on 500ml bottles of Fanta, Lilt, Sprite, Dr Pepper and Oasis - again you will get 2 bottles included in the deal!

To confirm
-Sandwich of any size
-Big bag of sweets
-2 500ml bottles of 500ml bottles of Fanta, Lilt, Sprite, Dr Pepper and Oasis

for £2.99. Not bad IMO.

Great Deal. Be careful tho, the "snack" is to the value of £1.35. If you are getting a snack of higher value within the meal deal then this is extremely hot!!

I give the sweets away :whistling:

thanks

Just to point out this can also include a small sushi selection as the main meal and that two of the Boots sandwiches have 3 in, the triple chicken pack (Chicken Salad, Chicken and Bacon and Chicken and Sweetcorn) and the favourites one (BLT, Chicken Salad and Prawn Mayonaise)

as a poster pointed out before the snack is technically only on £1.35 or less so bear that in mind.
I grab a can of red bull as well, the large kind for use as a vodka mixer later ; )
Although this morning it was needed as a pick me up (sans le vodka)

Technically yes, their tills however allow it...

I'll try this in a bit. Thanks for the heads up.

I didn't want to keep my teeth anyway...

Good deal. However I always go for the Innocent smoothies, billy bargain.

Yeah it's a good deal but the downside being that if you work in the business area of a major city, like myself and a large majority of people buying this deal do, then the smaller Boot's shops in these parts of town don't tend to sell the larger bags of sweats / chocs. Best you can normally get is Wurther's Originals for £1.35.

I also find the fillings on Boot's sandwiches can often be a bit thin on the ground. Nowhere near as meaty as Sainsbury's.

Still worth it for the BOGOF on the drinks though and don't forget if you buy 5 within the same calendar month (Advantage card) then your 6th is free!

Don't think they do the 6th meal free anymore - certainly don't in central London. Not sure if different elsewhere.

no wonder we are becoming a nation of obese people. i prefer crispbreads with cottage cheese, some fruit and a drink of water.

From memory I think if you also buy 6 meal deals over a period (can't remember the timeframe) they also give you one free. They record it when you use your advantage card

Good for me. Found a Boots card in the machine with £3+ on it got my deal, thanks

Good for you.

But I don't see how your personal eating habits are relevant to this deal? :?

Yeah, I prefer that too, but it's not in the deal so I'll go with the things that are...

I'm lying - I don't prefer that. I actually prefer a Burger King Whopper - but that's as irrelevant as your comment.

No it isn't!

By your logic, everytime a deal for alcohol is posted somebody should comment on the ills of binge drinking. And everytime somebody posts a deal for a computer game another person should comment that children aren't getting enough exercise. :whistling:

Sure, your're entitled to your opinion but we don't need to hear it and frankly, I doubt if any of us care what you like on your crispbread. :lazy:

Nice varied diet you've got going there. Do you make cheese sandwiches for your husband who washes the Mondeo every Sunday without fail?

Do you realise the avi is me? I'm fully aware of how to control my diet. Sure some people don't. But that is there choice. And if they decide their life style and choice is to get fat it is their choice. The aim of this site, is to save them money.

Good deal, worked a treat for me at lunch time, will store the red bull and sweets for later use.

Really? they will give you 2 * 500ml drinks?

I knew about the big bag "cheat" on sweets but I didnt realise that Boots were doing 2 for 1 on the drinks as well, bargain.

And as to diet, I currently train for my sport around going to work and its not easily fitting in the extra 1000-1500 calories a day that im supposed to! (im told to eat 3,500- 4,000 calories a day to balance out the 2-3 hours of training I do a day) so stuff like this helps a lot

I'll make a deal with you, if you do the training I'll eat the extra calories for you

I get these all the time, It's a shame they don't do the buy 5 & get the 6th for free anymore. That used to make it a much better deal

If you're going to play with fire then either put your flame suit on or prepare to get burned.
