Sanwhiches from boots are quite nice, usually a good deal in the meal deal they do however, 75p is a bargain, I know a member of staff at my local that says these sandwiches last at least a few days past there use by date

All retailers do this to any food that is fresh, m&s are great at discounting their cakes.

Voted hot though I'm guessing it's store specific. Most stores do this. Tesco reduce them to 20, 30p of an evening, we've often stocked up..lol

I enjoy that they do so! These boots sandwiches are the highlight of the shopping trips the wife drags me on!

Try Asda. If they have any left by about 7pm, it's 10p, by 8-8.30, it's 1p. You just need to fend off everyone else who is trying to grab them from the poor guy/girl's hands as they are re-pricing them (If you're not fast, you're last!)

Oooh bargain! I don't like elbowing people out the way though, I send the other half in when we have to fend off other shoppers...lol

Good prices but end of day reductions aren't really a deal...

I love going co op after 8pm, the jumbo croissants are 4 for £1! Take them to work etc, u can eat then for another day or 2

I used to work in a shop that did this. The homeless and people with drug problems used to come in and buy this stuff until the 'recession' hit and then a group of so called bargain hunters moved in... enjoy your 1p sandwiches whilst you drive home... Maybe pick one up for the guy in the street on your way to the car park.
