Ok so the aviators are awaiting stock online , but plenty of others to choose from, I was lucky and my local store had the aviators,

Cold as online is oos, and checking store by store is a bit of a wild goose...

Original Poster

Only these glasses are , the post was supposed to be for all types and surly it's better to know this info than not , how hard is it to pop into your local boots . Poor reason to vote cold . These comments just push people away from hot uk deals , I got half price sunglasses so I don't actually care anymore

Just what I need. Thanks OP

cheers got some. also had a smaller pair so was torn. felt like smaller ones were not proper aviators

You want me to go to my local Boots, 25mins drive away, pay for fuel and parking, only to find out they don't have it in stock, then try another one a few miles away who probably don't have it in stock either, etc, etc, etc. Bearing in mind also that it is SUMMER so the likelihood of them being snapped before I get there is pretty high? Hmm... thanks but no thanks op. By the way Debenhams are doing up to 50% off sunglasses so one may have a better chance and more choice?

your comment is pretty much a rant about you living in the middle of no where and probably the kind of person who barely goes to town unless you have a reason, like this one. If you happened to go to boots at some stage, this post might remind you to look out for it as you are obviously interested in buying one.

And the ones from china will not be CE marked. They will not protect your eyes from harmful UV light. In fact the tinted lens will further dilate your pupil allowing even more harmful UV light to your eyes. The consequence of which are tumours and cataracts to name a couple. Hmmm I would rather pay a little extra. Good eye UV protection is just as important as good suncream.

Very foolish thing to do.

If people don't want to make a wasted trip to their local Boots, phone them up beforehand and ask them to do a stock enquiry using this item number 5244668

Jelly Bean, I live in London. But there are things called traffic here so my nearest Boots is not a few minutes away. I was interested in buying one but just don't want to be sent on a wild goose chase...

Wow you still have one of those?? I suggest you try 'telegraming' your local boots and see if a). you can get through to someone at store. b). if you do, whether they'll reserve one for you so you don't get there to realise they're sold out? I suggest you try the above first before you fail miserably in trying to be a smart ass?

Well luckily for me, I just ask my family member who works at boots to do my purchases for me, so thanks but no thanks.

And before being a jerk to the OP who only posted the deal to help others, you should consider that the OP did not ask you to drive 25 minutes and pay for fuel or parking. He doesnt even know you, and probably doesnt care much for your sissy fit over not being able to find sunglasses at boots. Heres millions dying of poor sanitisation and lack of food and clean water, but oh my God! you have to pay for fuel and parking. That trumps it all. First world problems, ey?

Bought a pair of exactly these today without seeing this post until tonight.

Great quality and brilliant price for a strong pair of sunglasses.

Had loads available in store, and lots of choice.

Why expired? Its definitely available in store, atleast it was up today in warrington.

Yes, I also phoned my local boots store, gave the helpful lady the product code, she checked stock... They had some (huddersfield) and put them behind the pharmacy counter.
I finished work at 3pm rode my bike over to the store and collected.

Stores DO have stock...

Maybe a touch big for my head tho ? Or so the wife says...

Not sure why this has expired. As mentioned before it is not just this style on offer, even the french connection ones where half price.

Back in stock for anyone who's interested.

any suggestions for £3 for free in store delivery?

Boots always seems expensive to me

Still available x

Hot from me as I just picked up a pair of FCUK and Peter Werth shades for £45 in-store after half price discount making it effectively buy one get one free (not bad quality items in my experience for an excellent price). Can't comment on store specific stock but there's plenty of range still available from what I saw.

...note however that the FCUK sunglasses (and no doubt the others) are cheaper on Amazon as the boots price is RIP but two pairs at £45 is still a good buy.
