In most cases, you may find better savings going through Quidco & TopCashBack however ASOS aren't on any cashback site & you can now earn Advantage Card Points for every £1 spent.
Some retailers including Halfords & Dorothy Perkins are giving you more points for your buck.

It is my understanding most stores are paying 1 point for every pound you spend, that is the equivelant of 1p to spend at boots, so it is like getting cashback of 1%. You would be better of using the likes of quidco where you will get much more cashback. Finally, if the likes of quidco can offer more cashback and still make a profit, imagine how much money boots will make of this scheme with people who don't realise they can do so much better elsewhere. Cold from me, but stil a worthwhile post. Thanks.

Voting Cold based on that is preposterous!.
If you read my post you would've noted going through Quidco & TopCashBack on ocassions would be more beneficial however sites frequently visited such as ASOS, with a reported £165 million turnover in 2009, there's potential for £1.6 million worth of Advantage points being dished out.
Not only that, there'll be occasions were it'll be double points, treble, even 10x & 20x...

There is no mention that any individual retailer will offer the points deals that boots sometimes offer, if they do at any point then it may represent great value. However you have uour opinion, and as your deal has not gone cold it would appear that many share that opinion, my opinion is that it is cold as there is better value with cashback sites, that is not preposterous and neither is your view.
