Okay this is my first deal so go easy on me basically this is what you do (please note I copied this from another site but thought some people on here might not know about it so worth sharing?)

Step 1: Spend £5+ in-store on anything before Sun 30 Mar. OK, I've not included the initial £5 spend in my calculations, but it's so easy to spend £5 on essentials at Boots, you can buy things you actually need. Once you've spent the £5, you'll be given two No7 vouchers: one for £5 off No7 skincare, one for £3 off No7 make-up.

Step 2: Use the vouchers in-store on its No7 current 3 for 2 offer, on till Tue 18 Mar. Combine the 3 for 2 with the money-off vouchers in the same transaction.

Here’s an example:

Buy one x £7 No7 face wipe (skincare) = £7
Buy two x £6 No7nail polish (counts as make-up) = £6 because it’s a 3for2 with the cheapest free.

Now use your voucher on top of this and take £5 off for skincare, and £3 off for make-up. So that’s £19 of stuff for £5. I've tested this and it works (store staff have also confirmed this, but Boots officially hasn’t). If you have trouble using both money-off vouchers in one transaction, split your purchases into skincare and make-up, and use the vouchers separately.

So? If it helps people know about the deal then it is doing what they are set out to do, save people money

Can't combine the vouchers only 1 per transaction .

When tested it worked..

I do this every time these vouchers come out. Do the self service still give the different till split? Works with the BB cream and tinted moisturiser as it counts as skin care and make up.

Have one of these vouchers in front of me now. Clearly states 1 voucher per transaction. You must have been lucky.

Maybe so but 21£ of stuff for 9£ isn't bad either if you cant get the deal Or £39 of stuff for £18 is also good!

Staff have confirmed this deal is working though? Who knows worth a shot at least whats the worst that could happen? :P

last time I seem to recall that the one of the exclusions on the vouchers stipulated that the skincare voucher could not be used with BB cream?

Maybe they changed it because of this, don't know as I have so much back stock I haven't tried!

Ohnoes

Thanks for the info

They usually work through the tills - the sales assistant may be the problem!

Really ought to give credit to the OP on MSE though

You mean Martin Lewis? This glitch was on the main newsletter.

He desribed it as;

"If you're updating your make-up and skincare for spring, this is a fiddly, but delicious little bit of extreme MoneySaving. ‘Stack’ multiple promotions to get potentially huge discounts on skincare and make-up products.

Boots says you shouldn't be able to use both coupons in one transaction, but we knew this deal had worked for our forumites in the past. So MSE Charlotte trekked to our local Boots to try it out. Inside, the staff spilled the beans, spending 10 minutes excitedly taking her through the tricks to boost the saving - brilliant! "

Please add to the top of your deal that you got it from MSE. It's basic etiquette to credit whoever you got the deal from - not pretend you found it yourself as you have done. Bad form.

I never added that as you can see (no edit) It has always said that since i posted it originally 2hr 39mins ago! oO

I think HUKDealer01 did put into his /her description that they did get this from somewhere else, so im sure if it helps other people especially on here to save a bit of money where ever it was from it doing the same job cheers op

The vouchers do always say that only one voucher can be used per transaction, and can't be used on BB Cream etc, but every time I have tried using both vouchers, even with BB Cream, at a manned till, it has worked. The staff don't seem to read the small print.

i must just be unlucky then i tried the bb cream last time they gave voucherd and it didnt work

Didn't work for me. Till wouldnt allow assistant to put both coupons through.

You are lucky. The staff where I tried last time the vouchers were out read the voucher and told me that I couldn't use them both.

This was on MSE over a week or so ago, I just assume it was on here already!

I have 3 vouchers, 2 skincare, 1 make-up.....anyone tried using all 3?

You might have missed this Boots deal earlier, it is oos now, but pretty good..... hotukdeals.com/dea…750

i personally think it depends on the sales assistant, some are picky and some go with the flow and accept whatever you give them , although i have noticed Boots have become alot more stricter in their policies now than say a year ago (probably due to people over taking advantage of the offers)

Bit hit and miss with this.
Full credit should have been given to MSE and this should have clearly been mentioned, only courteous!

Ha ha, the best ones are usually glitches and they go oos so quickly within about 10 mins of me posting!!

Credit the mse elite now.

Nice to see HUKD showing a MSE deal. Usually it's the other way from what I've seen

I used a £5 off voucher on a no 7 skincare product that had been reduced to £7 so I got it for £2. I always use the two vouchers on 3 for 2, thought it was normal practice!

Yeah their weekly email is full of stuff from here

Why are people being so funny with OP.....she stated two hours ago first post and also credited another site. I am new and from reading gather that if I post I credit accordingly.....but to be so tenacious and bullish seems a little unfair. So when I start posting mega grocery and household clearance lines coming up , stating which stores etc and other advice will I also be admonished simply for being a newcomer. Seems a little harsh and almost makes me never want to dare to share....
