Cause its very obvious to me its a packet of 12 biscuits. Theres a picture with 12 biscuits. Im not sure how dumb you'd have to be to think you were getting 12 packets of those for that price along with free shipping! Jesus.

What you are saying is so dumb. It's hardly a scam if someone offers you something for an agreed price with a clear description and you purchase it? That's called shopping lol. You're insane.

Thank you - Ordered but are we likely to get 12?

No you’ll get just one, read the reviews at the bottom

It's one packet of 12 biscuits presumably looking at a recent review -

Not what advertised
Great taste and good texture, only draw back it says x12 ie 12x150g but in reality it was only 1 packet not 12.
So give a wide berth
Look at the shipping weight.it may be 12.i know with some other border biscuits it says 12 packs and the shipping weight is like 200g but this one says 2kg.who knows

100% guaranteed that you will receive 1 pack of 12, so don’t expect any different. It isn’t worth contacting Amazon for a refund either, as this just wastes the refund contingency they give before threatening to cancel your account. These types of deals were posted frequently before, until members realised the consequences

Do you know what the refund contingency is please? Never heard of this.
I ordered thinking this would be 12 packs, but then saw that same review on Amazon saying they only got 1 pack. Also saw that a deal was posted on here about a week ago and everyone only received one pack not 12. This is a waste of time.

For as long as I can remember now, whenever I've had problems with Amazon orders (where they have been totally at fault), their CS have not offered me any compensation and are a brick wall when you try to get anything out of them. They always make me send them photos (in addition to countless long phone calls / online chats / emails) aswell as having to send all products back every time (often they refuse to collect and make you go to the post office etc) and still don't offer me anything - just a waste of time.

It’s just a scenario where Amazon will allow either a certain amount of returns or refunds (could be a certain percentage or value, but the exact conditions are unknown), before they decide they don’t want you as a customer anymore. It is rare as such, but it’s definitely a possibility for anyone who makes a habit of it

Yeh - all returns / refunds count against you even when they are totally at fault - I have been on the receiving end of this nonsense before from Amazon.
Bit harsh when it’s their fault. Don’t think I’ll bother with these. Thanks.

I thought someone said they received 12 packs recently?
why would people think its 12 packets of biscuits? Its just the usual scammers trying it.

and does that sound right to you with free delivery? theyre basically paying you to eat them!
Well - after doing more searching (which isn't easy given the Hotukdeals search engine is total garbage) I saw that someone purchased Viennese Whirls on a similar posted Amazon deal just over a week ago and they received a box of 12 for £2.29... other similar deals resulted in people receiving just 1 pack, so god knows what people will receive. Here are some pics from the similar Viennese Whirl thread on what that person received:

That's not our problem - that's their problem. They need to send out whatever is advertised. The price has nothing to do with what you should receive.
I remember getting a 3 pack of Colgate whitening toothpaste from amazon pantry and the cost was 3p!! I don’t know if it was an error or getting rid of old stock, but I was happy either way.

scammers guilt. When you know full well you are taking advantage of wording issues or mistakes then you are scamming. If it were Amazon you are scamming then you could at least justify it by saying they are tax dodgers. But they will not be the ones losing out here its that company in Scotland who makes them who will be saddled with the losses. Thats how it works. And calling me dumb & insane doesnt make you right. These are businesses not charities. Play fair, they have to make profits.

They have a policy of 'biscuits before profit'.

We better get our 12 pack if they want another referendum.

Wording in our society is very important contracts are built upon it, regardless of what you say if people fail to list items correctly should we disregard the deal?
You try to set rules where there are none and I doubt you follow your own words, as you said amazons justifiable to scam but others aren't?
Play fair? The point of capitalism isnt fairness

See now you are going down a whole other argument. If you wanna justify scamming thats fine. But own it dont shimmy & dribble round the fact to ease your conscience. Knowingly taking advantage of a mistake is scamming. Maniuplate it any which way you please. And as I already said, this isnt about Amazons losses its about a small businesses losses.

Oh, and morals should matter also. But go get your biscuits. Then push some stressed amazon chat worker into giving you a refund or 11 more free packets. Then get fat from said biscuits. Thats your karma.
£1.55 in asda yesterday a pack

Agreed! They cancelled my account because I returned 3 out of 15 orders. I also had £55 in my Amazon gift card balance, which they refused to refund.

Most companies now have wording that the contract isnt complete until you receive dispatch or a confirmation email though I may be slightly off as to the wording.
Hopefully someone is able to clarify this.
Not being an expert I would assume amazon would have a similar protection in place.
These items could be short dated or may have been an excess of stock potentially seeing it cheap particularly on here doesn't necessarily equate to a scam.
I appreciate your viewpoint but chill and have a good Sunday

I can't quite figure out why right at this moment in time but that just seems like the opposite of the way the scenario should b I mean if they refused to give boris his biscuits then surely then he would more likely say well sod you then we can split ties

Do not waste your time with this product it has been posted 3 or 4 times every time I have only received 1 not the 12 as stated. Amazon did not want to refund me until I returned

What were your reasons for return? I've returned things lately for bad reasons, like something overheating then the replacement overheats waay more and I think "uh hu, maybe that overheating wasn't so bad!".

It's 9 biscuits in a pack.
These and the oat crumbles only arrived as single packs. The chocolate gingers arrived as a full case.
I got refunded on the singles no problem.
The shipping weight has been corrected on these strawberry ones since mine were delivered, so I would expect full cases this time if I had ordered them.
On a different note, these strawberry ones taste terrible. Very lardy feel, and fake strawberry taste.
Mine just arrived, 12 packs
