Code doesn't seem to work for me, Borderlands might be excluded?

Can anyone confirm whether this is working or not?

It's like a really long mission pack for the first Borderlands. Nothing is really different at all apart from a few powers. I got so bored when I rented it on PS3. Maybe when it's in the steam sale at the same price as Borderlands. All the same, great price for now.
Hot price for now. I'm waiting for the Game of The Year edition to come out so that all the DLC will be available rather than paying for each one individually.

Useful information. Thanks for the heads up, I'll defer my purchase (not that I'd have any time to play it anyway)

You'll be waiting about a year then!

And as for the "it's like a Borderlands mission pack", I have to disagree. Whilst the mechanics and general premise haven't changed (most would say that's a good thing!), almost everything about the game has improved vs. the first one.

Writing is much better, the humour is consistently good (completely wacky at times, in fact a lot of the time!) and the story is actually meaningful and interesting this time. Character customisation has been ramped up massively and the skill tree is a lot more fluid. Locations are more varied too, even driving around has become a pleasure!

There's so much to say because so much has improved. Even the little things like the action skill recharge time being much reduced, and the in-game hologram menu.

Massive change is a really risky move, and often goes wrong. Borderlands 2 does look and feel very familiar, but in my eyes it's everything a sequel should be - wholesale improvement!

This is something I agree with! I suspect Anthony Burch had a lot to do with how funny it is. However I'd rather have all that as a radio play or something, than have to shoot the same skags reskinned as 6 armed gorillas and hockey mask wearing skinny men, fat men and tiny men over and over and over while getting from point A to point B to flick a switch and collect 8 objects then backtrack.
Why is this offer hot? The code doesn't work as the game is on offer for £22.99!
Sorry folks, it worked for me - they must have changed it...

Massively disagree. It's improved in practically every single way. If you enjoyed the first you're almost guaranteed to enjoy this game.

That's because the PS3 version is crap.

Play this on a decent PC and it will probably feel like an entirely different game.
BL1 was good fun, BL2 is so much better, more NPCs, areas aren't as barren, better voice acting, mission arcs, everything is just better.
Price and code updated! Please unexpire
This is 13.99 at simply games....but out of stock at the minute.

Completely agree, while it does feel similar it also feels new and I am loving it so far but can only seem to play for around 2 hours at most at any given time (at least so far) however I am playing solo (which I was fine with on borderlands 1 but I think I wanna go online with this one).

I am only lvl 11 but so far I love it, the guns are very cool and some of them just rip enemies to pieces lol. It's the only shooting game I can bloody aim on too other than Mass Effect

It's the same game but I do agree, PC gaming is the best.
I put Borderlands 1 on my PC before and my nephews put it on their Xbox next to my PC and the difference in graphics was unreal. Where you could see grass / objects and lots of detail including mountains and buildings in the background you could not even see them on the Xbox lol.

It looked like such a different game it was unreal. I never would of thought you could get that much more detail on a PC game compared to a console game.

Tweak this up on the PC and combine it with the really rather cool physx effects and it's brill. It's a very good sequel and I'm enjoying my second play-through with friends immensely.

If you're expect the sequel to not be like the first one then er.. i'm not sure what you're expecting?
The humour, secrets, game references and vastness of it all are fab for me.
