Its £23.99 on the Playstation Network Store later today so this is a tad bit cheaper. Unsure of how much it is on the 360 marketplace as I don't have an Xbox but I am guessing this is cheaper.

EDIT: It is 2400 MS Points on Xbox 360 marketplace which makes this deal still cheaper by a tad.

Borderlands 2 Season Pass:
Borderlands 2 will have at least 4 DLC packs by summer 2013. Pass holders will be able to download the new content as it goes live, with all four scheduled to be available before and by June 2013." Borderlands 2 is out this Friday - 21st.

In essence you are getting 4 DLC packs for £5 each instead of £7.99 saving £11.96 (if there 25% saving is to be taken to word).

Yes you are right, I have just checked and it is indeed 2400 MS points which is just over £20 worth so still a tad cheaper through this deal.

Just awaiting my copy from GAME that was posted yesterday and hopefully will receive it tomorrow (fingers crossed) if not Friday!
This on top of the price of the game . Hmmmm
Better wait till a game of year edition I think if patient enough
It's a great game with loads of comedy that will make you giggle while you play. If you have played borderlands 1 (like me) you will love this game.

Never liked the idea of season pass as I usually sell the game once I have completed it.

/\ You are getting mixed up between a network pass and DLC pass. This is a DLC pass for four piece of DLC which will come out before summer next year. Borderlands 2, like Borderlands 1 is free to play online and doesn't require a pass.

Yeah I know the difference. My point is if I win the game before summer next year I would usually sell the game so getting a season pass would be pointless as I wont have the game to play the 4 DLC but it is a clever way of getting people not to sell the game and wait till next summer to play the dlc and not the sell the game earlier.

wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy the points seperate from say electonics first than pay £20 for borderlands 2 season pass points?

That is the whole point, to have an incentive to keep hold of the game, with quality DLC you will want to keep hold of it and not resell it. It's giving consumer the choice, and I for one think it's a good idea. If you want you can get the game, play it, sell it on and when the DLC is released, just buy the GoTY edition that will no doubt be released with all the DLC included and you will not feel cheated.

Also the DLC won't be released next summer, they'll be released every few months with the last DLC pack due for next July. So you should get a whole years worth of enjoyment.

not that this is a bad deal, but you can get 2100 points on here or avforums for £13-14, and if you dont have 300 sitting, you can get 400 for £5, so technically £1-2 cheaper, but of course could be a little bother buying the points etc, but thought i'd point it out
Got burned with elite and gears pass , will wait until discounted on Xbox live for half price
Bought this on the dashboard a few hours ago. Now waiting for the game
My loot editions should arrive tomorrow

Thats PC only code isn't it. So wouldn't work for either the Xbox 360 or PS3.

Don't think you can use points from the US on the Europe account so you'll need to open US account to use it, so not worth the saving of a couple of pounds.
Played the single player for about 3 hours over the weekend, got bored of it and havent continued on..and I love fps games, but the co op in this game is alot of fun...much better then the single player for sure

im not spending it in case i need it to purchase something
voted cold because i was obviously ripped off.

i thought i was getting a seasonal pass but ended up getting £20 instead
good deal in essence but is anyone else sick of the games industry? Wher else can they get away with selling you a part product. They advertise these as extra items but at end of day it should all be part of the original game. This is where somebody mentions if you buy a car etc you can ask for extras etc but to me its not the same with the gaming industry seems to me they make a game then cut bits out to charge you at a later date so not really an extra.
Rant over and heat added cause at end of day we'll never beat game industry when it comes to things like this

In general I might agree with you but in the case of Borderlands this is definitely not held back from the final product. Development of the DLC started once the game went Gold and if you are familiar with the DLC from the first Borderlands you would know it's substantial.

Other examples of well-done DLC include the GTA IV episodes; RDR Undead Nightmare; Oblivion Shivering Isles.

The real rip-offs are the games that have DLC Day one which are just unlock codes for something on the disc. Most likely by EA or Capcom (surprisingly not Activision :S).

Isn't the season pass £20 on the psn store??? If so surely its better to give the person who buys the £20 credit a choice so they don't have to buy the season pass but still if they do want the pass they have the option to buy it.

Also It might not add the season pass to the store until release which is tomorrow.

Well the price on PSN is £23.99 not £20.00 and Doctordsmiley I would email Gamestation and tell them about your problem. That should get it sorted. Let us know how you get on.
My preorder is with Sainsbury's and I'm still "processing". Not sure what to make of this season pass deal yet.

I have also brought the Season Pass but from Game, The code does turn into points but you can easily buy the season pass.

If you think about it, the fact that they give you an option on buying the pass is pretty good and still value for money compared to other DLC purchases in which you dont have a choice to change your mind or not.

If you also read the description on the website it does tell you what the code is for and will do.

Hope this helps
Just wait for the game of the year edition. Its a rip off to buy into this.

How is it a rip off? Yes, it will be cheaper when you buy the game of the year edition, but that won't be out till at least summer/autumn next year so you either wait for the game and content and pay less, or you play the content now/as soon as it launches and pay more. If the DLC's are like the first Borderlands then they will be worth the price in my opinion. This is still the best deal now for the DLC. Personally I would rather enjoy the game now while its fresh as next year there maybe another game out around the time of the GOTY edition.
