Does anyone know if this supports 2 player mode? And if so do you need full sized controllers or 2 switch controllers?

Just copied and pasted this from amazon ;

Enjoy all three games on the go with each featuring local 2-player split-screen co-op play or make some mayhem online with up to 4 other players.

So they couldn't do what Saints row did by local play through 2 cartridges. At least they money saved just useless in handheld
So I hear the 1st game will be on the cart, whilst 2 and pre sequel will be download codes.
See it’s crap like this that really pi**** me off. Will definitely be skipping this!

Yeah, I don't think they realise most people buy physical on Switch to collect (or to trade in after playing).
Else everyone would be digital for the convenience.

It's the reason why I had to import my copy of Final Fantasy X/X-2 at a high price too (as western doesn't have X-2 on cart).
Ya, good one. A botched physical release of old games for £34. Shove it where the sun doesn't shine 2K. Why do people think this is acceptable? If it was £20 and all 3 games were on the cartridge, then, yes. But that's absolutely not the case here.
That’s a massive amount of gameplay and dlc, for the money.
If it was all on the cart I would have paid £35-40 for these collections being released this month.

As it is they want me to pay £33 to fill a huge chunk of my SD card. So I won't be buying the Switch version at all and will just have to stick to my Steam versions.

And yes, I did buy Metro Redux, because it was all on the cart.

Yes value is great, however, 2 games which you can't resell stupid.

I'm more surprised they're saying they can't fit it all on one card.Shame really.

Hopefully they might release 3 on there soon
FYI if you're thinking of buying this physically, don't. Only half of the first game is on the 8GB cart. The second half of BL1, the second game, and pre-sequel are all downloads. Same thing applies to the Bioshock and XCOM releases. 2K are being proper greedy.

The Borderlands Legendary Collection does not even have a full game available. All but 6.6 GBs of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition comes on the cartridge, and you’ll need to download another 35 GBs to get Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. That completely spends the Switch’s internal memory and then some.

XCOM 2, meanwhile, ships on an 8 GB cartridge like Borderlands. The cart will hold two initial missions, and you’ll have to download the rest.2K didn’t say how much data that amounts to, but they assured players that the total “will not exceed 24 GB.” (Are you comforted by that?)

Last but not least, Bioshock ships on a generous 16 GB cart, but an undisclosed chunk of content still has to be downloaded.
Mind blowing they decided to divide the content. Even if all 3 were physical this would be hard to justify at this price for me. Amazing game though and tons of content though
