I've got this drill. It's good, would definitely recommend at this price.

What's the ah on the batteries, have I missed it somewhere?

1.5ah

1.5ah

Had mine about 2 years now absolutely brilliant bit of kit.

Don't need it don't need it don't need it *clicks the deal price*

Great deal, just ordered. Thanks.

Was looking at this last night at 78...glad I waited.

Got one, it's a great drill.

I was going to buy this but the following concerns me:

"Very nice little cordless- light, powerful, has a nice feel in the hand and the batteries charge very quickly. I am a bit concerned that there is absolutely no cell protection in the battery however, which is essential with li-ion batteries particularly high current ones. The lack of balance charging also means that the cells will die long before they would if they had a proper BMS to keep all of the cells at the same voltage. I suspect that whoever designed these batteries was experienced at designing NiCd and NiMH packs but is new to Li-ion and doesn't understand the different precautions that must be observed. It's a shame though, because otherwise it's a really nice cordless. "

Does that matter?

I got one of these on that prime day and have to say it is a good drill battery/torque wise, but having only used it a few times though I don't think quality is that great as the forward/reverse switch jams often which is quite a pain as it's pretty stiff to un jam, and I also bought the bosch drill bits and am having issues with the quick release on that.

Bought one of the drills about 10 years ago and liked it so much, within a week bought a second. I keep one for drilling, the other for screwdriving so I don't have to buy more expensive quick change drill bits for jobs. Screwdriver is quick change though. I've moved house 6 years ago & done a lot of diy with it in both houses, thrown it around in various tool boxes and it's had a tough working life. Never had any trouble with either of them, still drills as true as the day I had them. Batteries are still OK, and they're these 1.5ah ones. I've got some 2ah ones from other tools (circular saw, Jigsaw), in the same range that give a bit more time & juice but otherwise been great. I've got most of the range that fits these batteries (Inc sander & work light) including garden tools (hedge trimmer & strimmer (1.3ah battery)) and all been spot on. No trouble. Not used them for pro use obviously, but not for that purpose. Would highly recommend them, certainly at the this price. Mine were about £80 each. I've also got 2x of the hand vacs that use the 2ah batteries, again, great items & well made for the price.

I've had this drill for over a year and use it quite often, I've not had any problems with the forward/reverse switch or the keyless chuck. I think you got a faulty unit. I would ring up bosch warranty service. They are very helpful they offered to come and fix my impact driver the next day and I never registered my warranty.

I purchased this back in September for £67 2 batteries and an epic 3 storie kit box with bits and pieces

By the way heat added

I don't use it much

Just open up the box and touch the drill and admire the amazing build quality

Still fresh

I just use my old drills
