I thought that kettle looked familiar, it is the same as mine (I have the cream one) - very pleased with it and it cost about £30 from Sainsbury's not that long ago ....
I picked up this Philips kettle at Asda this afternoon:

direct.asda.com/phi…1C1

reduced from £24.96 to £10.40. I hope it's better than the Bosch, I've had two of those, neither of which lasted very long!
I also have this kettle in cream. Excellent kettle. I would buy it again if it broke.

It's not very noisy. About average for a kettle.

Great kettle very stylish and with water fill markers on both sides ideal for left or right handed and a push button flip lid .. over all just needs some Teabags now

Thanks op, black and white are both reduced (not cream tho) had a nice lady check them for me, on another note loads of the boxes seemed abit battered and around the seal, got two black ones and the one has clearly been opened removed and repacked without any attempt to make it appear as new, looks spotless but i still dislike it, anyone else as fussy as me?

No, the Philips I bought came in a battered & torn box, and when I got home I discovered it contained the instructions for a different make of kettle. But the packaging gets thrown away, so I really don't see that it matters.
If I needed another kettle I'd get this not even tempting to get a second though
Either not national or price been corrected, now £16-
