This not a duplicate deal? Was like £27 last week with this deal when you applied this offer then a 10% discount for B&Q members

That has now expired. It was £27 for a short period of time but i noticed the £5 still works to drop price down from an already reduced £35 to £30.
Thanks.
Is this drill any good?

Is this drill any good?

Can't see why it won't be. As a corded drill its not limited by cheap batteries and it will be fine for most household tasks, including into brick. It will also probably last forever for a diyer since the batteries effectively have a shelf life.
Especially if you rarely use a drill this is probably fine.

That said I would just get a battery one and spend the extra, being less hassle you will use it more. They often have a green bosch battery 18v hammer on offer, it's always on hukds grab that next time it comes up.

Thats the one I have and its a good bit of kit, although nowadays ive treated myself to proper trade gear.

Yes I bought a cheap 1 from Argos which works fine but is poor drilling into brick!
So the 18v is how much wattage compared to this? I know there’s other factors to consider when buying...

This will go into brick fine, although won't be as good as trade kit. No idea about wattage comparisons, there's loads of 18v cheap tat and proper 18v monsters. If you really want a monster get a 458 Makita., pick one up second hand on ebay, cheap battery from amazon and a charger. Alternatively buy an titan sds drill from Screwfix for 60 quid which will turn a wall to butter.
ULTRA HEAT . £75 in Wicks. Picked one up today as desperately needed one for a project. My 15 year drill packed up.

I was Using a 10mm x 400 Masonry drill bit into concrete blocks 140mm. Job done

So this has hammer drill switch?
Max masonry drilling capacity 14mm, so 1.4cm. Surely it will drill further?
