Been researching Cordless Vacuums and this one came up with good reviews on both John Lewis (£269.99) and Amazon (£215.13).

Priced it around other sites and this appears to be a really good deal... Have placed my order!

Does it convert to a handheld? If not, what's it like for doing the stairs?

sorry dont have stairs

Does not convert to handheld, Extremely powerful

Great vacuum cleaner. Deals well with pet hair and messy kids. Battery lasts long enough to cover a three storey five bed. Recommended.

It sucks up messy kids? Ordered.

Don't forget TCB

For anyone that has one, does it last the 60 min run time? 60 mins is pretty good going.

In mins, how long does it last?

You said "Battery lasts long enough to cover a three storey five bed" within 10 minutes!!!! You must go like a bat out of hell!!! If so that's what's known as a "lick and a promise" lol

It does the job and yes it's quick. It's cordless after all otherwise would take a lot longer.

Still I find it hard to believe it! You say charge only lasts 10 minutes Max! So you must be literally flying around to clean five bedrooms over three floors!!! That's some going!!! oO

I find cleaning as entertaining as the next bloke so I'm quick about it. I've just done a sweep of the house to pick up cat fur/fluff/crumbs etc and took under ten minutes. The carpets are clean and the tank is full so no doubt it does the job. The battery was not fully charged and it didn't run out (started on 2/3s, ended on 1/3). My wife reckons the battery is closer to 20mins on full but when would we agree on anything!?

As I said it's convenient and, to quote Wayne's World, it really does suck. As before I recommend it especially at this price.

You are able to detach the head and handle as there is a shoulder strap to carry the vac itself if you want to use it on the car. I have the non-pet version of this, and I would highly recommend it. The stairs shouldn't be a problem as it is cordless and very light. Have had Dyson's previously but they're not as good as they used to be.:{

have one great performance, about 20mins on full power, plenty for a quick vacuum around.
