Suitable for all floor types
Clean any type of floor in any room in your home, from carpets to hard floors and laminate using the All-floor power brush. The brush is easy to clean and remove caught up hairs from, making it great for removing stray pet hair from your sofa.

Always optimum suction thanks to sensor technology
Sensor bagless technology ensures constantly optimum suction performance. It does this by monitoring airflow. Should the airflow level drop, a blue light will turn red letting you know when to empty the dustbox.

Ideal for cleaning stairs, crevices and cars
Remove dust from all areas of your home with an accessory kit that contains a hose, shoulder strap and nozzles to clean crevices, upholstery, stairs or your car.

Excellent cleaners, pity they don't last long past the guarantee.
I got a refurbished Bosch Athlet BCH6ATH1GB off eBay (although it looked brand new) for £67 for my mum as her dexterity is not what it used to be and was pleasantly surprised at its power. And it is so much easier without the cord.

How much was it?

Can't remember exactly but around £180 I think. Was cheap at the time. Very happy with it. Prefer it over a Dyson.
I have a lower specced model to this and while it's lightweight and easy to use, it's a real pain having to dismantle and rebuild every time I want to use it with a hose and tool. So much so that I'm tempted to get a second one and keep one in each mode.
Was looking at a cordless hoover yesterday, is this worth getting?

these are really good, if i put mind on the second power level i can easily clean the whole house and its still going strong afterwards unlike certain (dysons) i could mention....
(like 'cgap' i dont both with the accessories to make it a handheld its too heavy complicated to fiddle doing that)
What's it like with hard floors and thick carpet?
Absolutely fab Hoover, so good I have 2

just placed one, should work.
Got the 25v white one from eBay for £85 (refurb) still going strong after a year, bought the 18v for my parents, they love it.

Agree with other posters re the hose attachments, takes too long and looks like a ghost buster.

Really like the removable brush bar as SWMBO has long hair which choked the corded vac and needed a screwdriver to remove and clean.
Just ordered thanks OP
Ordered thanks.
Don't buy it. Doesn't clean as well to the edge as a dyson and changing the tools is very difficult. You are expected to strap the vacuum onto your back when using the hose. It's utterly ridiculous. Get the Dyson V6 instead.
I have a fully carpeted home and in need of a good vacuum cleaner under £150. Should i go for this one or wait for something better. Dont want anything too heavy. Please advice.
This or the Miele c1 for £99. Decision time

Why not? Mine loves her new ironing board and lawnmower.
Spend the money and get a Shark, the best vacuum cleaner ever - period!
Triple the cost, massive difference

If you're talking about the cordless models then no, Shark is not the best. They are a long way behind the Dyson cordless models.

Bought her a new bag and belt last year so I suppose the whole hoover this year will be a nice surprise

R.I.P
Had nothing but trouble with our one, I always go with Bosch but the handle must have been replaced about 5 times, Warranty is great but after the warranty ran out has lost its suck, maybe in a few versions time they will get it right

No, it's no joke. You have to strap it on your back if you want to use the hose attachment. Like a Ghostbuster. It really is that ridiculous.
