The worst deal ever!!! You can buy this fridge only on line (not available in store). Checked - they have it in stock. Bought it and paid for it. Received an email from Currys congratulating me with my purchase and manufactures will contact me about delivery. I was very excited! A week passed. No one contacted! I've tried to phone the numbers were given by Currys no one answers. Went to the store and was told that there are no fridges in stock and I have to wait for another FOUR WEEKS until they get. Never mind money been taken out of my account nobody cared to inform me. Currys didn't help too. They don't care as the fridge comes from manufactures even if they represent them. It's nice to live without a fridge for another 4 weeks. NO MORE DEALS WITH CURRYS and will inform all my friends and every one I know to be very careful buying from Currys website.

not really a deal ?

UK Hot Deal? Really?

Now theres fewer people to buy from they can treat you how they want, keep your cash and dont even have to say sorry bud for mucking you about.

Actually bought a fridge/freezer from Curry's in Reading today. Didn't go for this Bosch but went for a Haier one instead (CFE633CW-E). It was just £329.99. Yes it's made in China and yes there are loads of crappy reviews on t'internet but hey, it won a Which Best Buy award, it's a decently big size, it's got a two year warranty, it's A+ efficiency, there's a buzzer to remind the wife that she's left the door open again (grrrrrrr!) and for a fridge, it looks understated and classy. Could have bought German but figure they are rich enough already!

oO

OP I hope you feel a little better getting it off your chest, I'll give you some chill.

Much as I hate to defend them it's not really Currys' fault if Bosch let you down. If you'd bought one that is stocked and delivered by Currys that would be different but you've gone for one that they don't sell and all they are doing is acting as agents for the manufacturer. As it stands they have passed your order onto Bosch and apparently have even told you that they will be holding stock themselves in a few weeks time and offered to put some aside for you (that sounds like what you're saying anyway). Not sure what else they could do for you.
