It's still a cordless hammer drill for DIY use. So it's like comparing apples with apples in my opinion. A DIYer wouldn't buy both because they do the same job. I was simply explaining to the OP why it wasn't getting hot.

Mmm.. thought the deal the other day was a for a 13mm chuck at 18v, where as this 10mm at 10v? Had a look at both drills tonight and both are lightweight compared to their makita and dewalt counter parts. Should I hold out for a makita deal?

You should have a look at the most recent comments tonight for the 'expired' Bosch drill 18v with 2 batteries - you may still be able to get it if you're quick - for £54 or even £49
