That’s looks very flimsy, my last green Bosch only lasted just over two years then all died. Since then DeWalt wall the way and no issues and amazing battery performance

Can anyone please enlighten us what’s this like in comparison to Ryobi twin battery set? Thanks I’m advance 🏽
Proper hot, really good price. Took me forever to decide which drill I want, after getting the Ryobi for £60 not long ago, several much better deals were posted.
I gotta get one between this (Bosch) and the Ryobi one. One benefit I see here is that Bosch comes with a case but drill looks flimsy but hey what do I know.

The Ryobi is a a higher specification. 50nm torque on the Ryobi vs 30nm on the Bosch, higher no load speed 1800 vs 1350. Ryobi also has more torque settings. I dont own either brands power tools so not able to comment on the build quality. The Ryobi kit doesnt come with a case if that makes a difference. Personally for me, I think the Ryobi is probably a better deal. 30Nm is fairly low if you plan on doing anything other than basic DIY, but this still may suffice for some depending on its application!

Unfortunately Screwfix were doing the Dewalt DCD778 with a single battery for £99.99 at the beginning of the year, and I would have suggested if you could stretch to it! At the moment it's only available with 2x2ah batteries for £119.99 which makes it much more expensive! screwfix.com/p/d…wcB

Bought the Bosch Advanced Impact 18 2 weeks ago for a much higher price.

Granted brushless, better charger, 2 x 2.5mah batteries and 3 attachments.

But, tempted to return as this is much cheaper!
While the Ryobi I've recently got is better specs, the fact this comes with a case and an extra battery makes a difference for me. I only need a drill for basic stuff and this will do the job. I'm thinking to return the Ryobi and get this one instead, but does anyone knows what's the charging time on this one? I can't find any info in this matter. Neither about the capacity of the batteries, some info in Q&A suggesting 1.5ah but you never know with the reviews on Amazon, it may belong to a different product. Quite strange to see info about capacity and charging time missing. Thanks, by the time I make up my mind, probably will be none left in stock

Am i really old? I was waiting for a deal similar but with "old" battery design so I could swap them about. Had no idea it had changed.

The Ryobi one above also comes with 2x 1.5ah batteries, but still no case! It sounds negligible but I do like having a case for all my stuff too.

The Ryobi is better, however, if you need it for basic stuff, this will definetely do the job and will be a better buy, as it comes with case and an extra battery.

Not negligible at all, I want a case for my Ryobi too, but not the canvas one, want a hard case. The cheapest I found is about £18 but I am not sure if it's big enough. I've got the £59 with a 1.3ah battery. I prefer this deal, if I get a case for my Ryobi, the total cost will be higher...

More than three times the price
I've had this set for nearly 6 years and its still as good as day one. No issues whatsoever with it. Even drilled through wall the other week with a 12x400mm drill bit and it went through no issues to install outdoor socket.

But probably a 3 x better drill though? 😁

Hope you used 3 year warranty? Or was it the battery that died?
Great deal
I've got the Bosch PSB1800.
I'm not sure what the difference is between this model and mine as I can't find a model number on the Amazon page, but the specs look similar.

I'd definitely recommend it. Have been very impressed and dropped it a few times into concrete and it's still going strong
Price now £109.99

Ditto

Tried expiring the deal but guess it needs a mod to check before it being expired.

Cheers, Ryobi seems to be very heavier while Bosch with battery is 1.3kgs. Personally my usage is basic and even that is very occasional. Last minute verdicts anyone? Thanks 🏽
Wth happened to price it’s gone up to 109£? Really

Mine has lasted nearly 4 years and still going strong. It's been battered and just wont die.
41005826-Y2Ptc.jpgI got the PSB 1800 LI-2 just before Christmas, with 2 batts and the drill has a charge indicator. I think it was less than £60 plus this seems to be a newer model? Voted cold, sorry

That was a very good price and probably a one off. You ask if this is a new model. If it is, why voting cold? It may be better than yours isn't it? The fact you've got a bargain 6 months ago does not means this is a bad deal. Particularly when you know nothing about this model...Find a similar deal at a better price now and you can justify your vote. This is not one of these products coming on sale every month at a cheaper price so you can wait and picture from camel camel shows this is the cheapest price ever.

Bosch have annoyed me on this one, this is the latest version of this popular and well made tool so why have they gone an removed the led light , charge indicator and sent it with a more flimsy looking charger ! The retail price certainly hasn't dropped and the motor spec is the same.

Totally ripping off the customers, such a shame as I generally like Bosch and that many of their green tools are made in the EU. ( For better working conditions )
