Popular kettle at a great low price. £3 cheaper than the John Lewis deal that previously got quite hot, so this deal must be boiling hot!

Enjoy the beauty of performance with every cup of tea – as modern design combines high comfort, lasting quality and easy handling.

You can save time and energy with the cup indicator or you can heat up exactly the amount of water you want to use. The spout is made for easy pouring without spills or splashes. And you always see how much water is in the kettle thanks to the easy-to-read water scale – so you only need to fill it to the level you need. What’s more, you always feel safe as the triple safety feature ensures maximum security. The kettle turns off automatically when the water boils or when lifted off the base. The safety feature is also a safeguard against overheating and boiling dry. In addition, this powerful kettle ensures the greatest convenience and ergonomic operation. The lid opens at the touch of a button and it is easy to fill the kettle with water. Hygiene has also been thought of, for which the heating element of this kettle is covered, which makes cleaning much easier.

Key features

One-hand operation with lid opening at the touch of a button
Triple Safety Feature: Automatic shut-off, overheat and boil-dry protection, switch-off when lifted off base
Limescale filter in spout
Concealed heating element for less limescale build-up
Cord storage: increased space and convenience with adjustable cable length

Bare in mind, the water level is almost impossible to see. Reason I returned mine.

3kW power not good if you have solar and running on batteries during the day need low Watts

Wish it had the keep warm for 3 to 4 hour function. Which would be good for electricity bills.

Surely it costs more to keep it warm than reboil the kettle? Doesn’t even cost me 1p to boil the kettle in the first place!

I guess its a decent price for a Bosch branded kettle.
I just bought a kettle earlier this week - as my previous 10yr old Breville one decided to give up the ghost.
Replacement kettle was this one from argos: Buy Cookworks Plastic Illuminated Kettle - Black | Kettles | Argos
£15 - 3Kw 1.7L, cordless, Black (with some stainless steel)

Ie exact same features as this one but half the price. Looks decent, works perfectly and the measurement gauge is easy to see + its in both "cups" and ml.

I guess you pays your money, you makes your choice - but I'm happy with mine!

A lot of people don't like plastic bottles and some even swear by the taste of the steel ones being better. Steel kettle from a brand name will always be more expensive.
