I bought this drill when it was last on special which seems to happen bi monthly. I can't believe how disappointed I am with it. I expected it to be like my old Hitachi. It has no balls what so ever and spends most of its time sitting in the cupboard because the parkside is far superior. A real shame that Lidl can produce a superior drill.

I paid 75 with a much better kit box and accessories
From the Wickes site... "This drill is best for demanding tasks such as building a tree house"

...when in reality, the 'li' bit of the product means light duty.

I've got this drill, £50 at Amazon a while back (but, that was a good deal). It's a good basic DIY drill, but nothing more.
I got a bosch blue for £76.06 from Amazon. Agreed it’s not a 18v but it’s the best drill I’ve ever had and it doesn’t have the great big battery that gets in the way at the bottom. It also has hammer function etc.
