Good deal, though 12 Volt a bit weak, Likely (based on previous years) that there will be better deals with Amazon & big shed DIY discounting more on 14 & 18 volt units shortly...
Decent drill and decent price for home DIY,installing curtains etc

Decent wee drill for home diy etc as said. Makes the Bosch blue 18v drill with 2 batteries deal from wolseley for £60 the other month seem even more of a steal, glad I grabbed that one when I did. Used it extensively building a garage recently. If wanting to do anything even slightly heavy duty or bigger jobs etc probably worth trying to find a deal on a decent 18v drill,i.e Bosch/DeWalt/Makita especially as prime day around the corner. This deal still good though if suits your needs for relatively lighter usage and fills the gap between cordless screwdrivers and 18v drills.
My bosh drill is fantastic, love it, it came with two batteries which has been incredibly useful so I would certainly look into two
The Bosch greens are always great value for money tools!
I do not recommend it! Keeps overheating easily, battery doesn't last and takes ages to charge. Have previous model which still goes strong but this one it's a waste of money!
Typically for Argos , it says "12V lithium-ion battery which fits all 12V or 10.8V li-ion DIY garden and power tools", but all pictures show the model with BUILT-IN battery.

Not sure about other details, but I see the same model with a REPLACEABLE battery for the same £50 (C&C) at Wickes
Personally, I'd shop around for a set with two batteries.

ETA: it's a mystery why/how a replaceable battery has a bigger capacity, but it's 2.5Ah at Wickes (the same 12V)

I can confirm the Argos version is the EasyImpact 1200 with built-in battery. Will be taking it back for a refund now as I saw your post and picked up the one with a removable battery from Wickes (EasyImpact 12 with 2.5Ah vs 1.5Ah) for £45 as I've got a Trade card. Thanks for the info. :-)

Definitely get the Wickes one over this... same price and has removable battery.
